Parents have been conned into having their boys surgically altered for decades. They tell you it is safe, that the baby doesn't feel any pain, and prevents disease - maybe they believed it, but now the word is getting out and I believe that this practice will die out rather quickly.
How tightly do I have to roll the consent form in order to stuff it up the "doctor's" ass? The "doctor" is the one who makes the ultimate decision, not the parent. Now I find that the interns are practicing on babies. Interns could refuse to do this on the grounds that "circumcision" is malpractice. Most are thinking about the fancy cars they are hoping to drive upon completing their residencies. This is what drives them to perpetuate the cycle of sexual abuse that is "circumcision".
@gdcat777 Stronger motive than money is the tyrannical thrill of assaulting a helpless victim. Yes, it's currently "legal" for FEMALES to rape males and commit mayhem against them. Religion is the source of this criminality, and PSYCHIATRY backs it up.
That was me ... under the knife of a doctor -in- training, who, under supervision, was doing his first cut on the flesh of a human being. God help him if he's still mutilating male genitalia. God help the men he has maimed or is maiming.

i agree that infants do not typically get the same consideration as older children and adults in the USA. for certain, the media has no family photos to pull the heart strings of the public, which would be key to getting the public to care.

I think life in prison without parole is the appropriate punishment for mutilating the genitals of a minor.

If I was to confront the one who mutilated me, I would most likely return the favor. It is my desire that he/she roast in hell for eternity.
