Its on Sat 5th of september, car is a toyota mr-s turbo, seems like the mapping was done a little on the rich side, failed drastically on the emissions testing.
Hi, quick question for a newbie would Malory park be a good place to do a track day? Looking at the short clip there does not seem to be much run off?
If you're really new to it all then yes, it's a simple track to learn. The only really fast bit where you might go astray is Gerrards the big right hander, and there is loads of run off there. Oulton would be IMHO the best as it has a bit of everything, but could be difficult to learn to start with, and there are a few places you could fall off and hit barriers.
If you start slow and build your speed up gradually then you should be ok anywhere.
Hi, I was very very lucky not to hit anyone else that's for sure.
Normally I'm doin mid to high 54s laps around there, but that was with the holley and the old car set-up. We've not been back since injecting her and modifying the suspension, so hopefully we should be a little quicker.
what date? i love watching the tr7v8s... what a sound!! at least you didnt hit the barrier mate, mallorys my local circuit so i'll probably see you driving lol
Not sure when exactly. It must have been around August time I would have thought. It was when we had a double header to commemorate the Triumph 25 year anniversary.
If you check out the CSCC future classics series, that's where most os the TR7s will be racing this year. If I'm there come say hello. I'm in the green with yellow bits one. Mike...
ye should be going to mallory once every 2 or 3 weeks, i will do that, keep me updated as to where you are in the championship.. would be nice to know
It's a very rewarding corner to drive. It's a fast entry and very hard to keep the speed up without hanging the back out, and there's a little bump on the exit that you have to watch out for. Scene of many an incident tho. Hopefully we'll be back this year and with brakes this time ;-)
Cool thanks for the reply, track day booked, now to get the car through its emissions lol.

You'll have to let me know how it goes. Is it at the weekend or in the week? What's the motor??
