I agree. Vincent Price movies are some of the best horror and even just regular movies made. If you want to know why this movie sucks, here it is real quick.

Plants (yes I said plants) release a chemical that makes people commit suicide. Mark Wahlberg, his cheating girlfriend and John Leguizamo's kid get caught in the wind where the chemical is being released 3 (yes 3) times and don't get affected by it. End of movie...

More spooky things in red yada-yada-yada and then an ending that wouldn't explain everything and leave us puzzled and ditch the whole fucking set-in-the-present-date bullshit. And no, I'm not even going to bother watching Lady in the Water, no wait... I've seen it... Guess what? That was the last drop that put Shyamalan in my Hall of Lame.

i think Shyamalan either gets it very right or very wrong. It's not as simple as 'he's a bad director'. And no matter how bad his films are, i always find his ideas, cinematography and soundtracks amazing.

The movie wasn't a waste of my time. I came to see a Shyamalan film and that's exactly what I got. Nothing more, nothing less. I will admit though that the acting and story needed work and did not compare to his work in 2004 and back. There are still some cool moments in this film, though.
