I saw Dina's show in Seattle in April and laughed so hard I spit beer on the folks sitting in front of me! I love the mini-movies with her super-imposed over characters' heads...HYSTERICAL!!!!
During costume changes, a screen drops down and it shows clips from commercials and famous films w/Dina's head computer added into the footage. She's usually making weird faces and mocking 2 the camera. Picyure Toto in The Wizard of Oz (w/Dina's head ) while Judy sings Somewhere Over The Rainbow!!! THAT'S when I lost it...and my beer!!! S I want a DINA DVD!!!!
Gawd Remember when she first performed at Bumbershoot way back in the day? Me and my buddy and the whole audience had never seen the camel toes. Every one laughed for and screamed for about 20 minutes. It made history.
ive seen this lovely woman 4 times in seettle. and everytime my wife and i pee alittle bit. just try not to. soooooooo funny. i was even given a jift that has a place of honor in our house. she is waaaaaaaay prettier up close. took my breath away.
@jacydc she performs at the rebar right across the street from my apts in seattle...seen her 2xs and ive never laughed so hard in my life, such a good time with a bunch of friends i even took my MOM!! she loved it. Extremely recommends Dinas shows!
Happened upon Dina Martina while in Provincetown in 2006....the funniest show I've ever seen in my life. I was crying, I was laughing so hard. Truly, truly delightfully twisted.
Saw her show this weekend and will watch it again whenever I get the chance. I can't explain it, you just need to experience it. Genius! Thank you Dina!
Dina does "tragic" like no one else... The Xmas show this year, she laid me out again - mixing up Clay Aiken and Reba McEntire... attempting to remember the names of the eight reindeer and somehow ending up in Kubler-Ross' Five Stages of Grief. NEW SHOW FOR APRIL - 'B-Sides" at Rebar in Seattle. Google it and drop by! THANKS for the post!
Absolutely the funniest, most wack performance I've ever seen. I was there the night she performed this vignette, I have never laughed more in my life. Dina is trult the "Gold Standard" check her out, check her out.
She's a genius...no exageration. Caught her show last week in ptown - a fabulous, funny and surreal trip!! A genuinely talented and versatile performance artist. Thanks for posting.
I saw her in Boston about 6 months ago. She is CLASSIC !!

The Dina Martina Holiday Album is a must have. Opening Christmas morning presents just wouldn't be the same without it. It's now a family tradition.
