    Bye tutvid

can you tell me how can I do it?

  • @spoink94 after you turn it into Sepia, go back to Adjustments -->Mode--> then hit RGB. After that you should be able to save it as JPEG.

  • I made it like the first part but i can save it like JPEG

  • This tutorial help me out a lot thank you! :)

  • dude excellent vid, thank you!

  • which version of photoshop do you use in your videos? PLEASE REPLY

  • Lol are you MaskedNoEvilz?

  • DAWT CAAAAMMM haha

  • i dont think you self absorbed at all! this was fantastic im a photography student and our teacher hasn't even shown us most of these tools, my mum is a photographer and when i asked her "how do i do sepia tone on photoshop cs2" she said it couldn't be done correctly..... but i just did it and you have literally save my assignment! i'm so greatful for this clip thanks :)

  • sir i don't get the last part from 9:40-9:48, what were you selecting? I kept on clicking layer 2 but nothing change. It's still black with a rectangular marquee at the center. By the way your video is so helpful. Thanks.

  • it took you 4:00 to get started you perfectionist

  • I have I have photoshop Elements 7 and I need help to revert the image to an 8 bit.

  • It took you 10 minutes to do this when you could upload this to when you could upload it to photobucket and add one effect.

  • Nice! Thanks so much for this.

  • I must say I did a pretty good job with a help of this tutorial. thanks

  • I hate people who complain about things that are done well and correctly, because they want the simple quick (read: half-ass) way to do something.

  • @nakedvolleyball who asked this fuckhead anything? if the author had somethin to say he would have, if he got offended he cud turn comments off, but apparently he dont give a fuck what any of us "haters" say, so why should a prick such as urself get his feelings hurt over comments that werent directed to him? now enough policing around youtube comments on other ppl videos and get over urself, in fact get a fuckin life

  • sepia to non-sepia --- desaturate then apply color of your desire...

  • @littlemakz Go to another tutorial (if you can even call it that) for your amateur hour sepia effect. See ya!

  • dam way too much talking but thanks for the tutorial

  • somebody knows how to get a photo non-sepia?

  • good tutorial but one thing, make it shorter its about sepia effect so keep it to that all that measure and resize stuff should be ready before the tutorial started... its 4 mins and lesson didnt start yet... Good tutorial though big ups

  • @Kpro4 This guy just made your photoshop purchase (if you did in fact purcahse it) more worthwhile, and all you can talk about is give him shit for showing you something you didn't even know existed, or how to use it. I can imagine you must be pretty shit at what you do for a living and for hobbies.

  • i didnt get the duotone..

  • Good tutorial, but why did it take you until 4:03 to actually change the color image to b&w? No offense, but this video could be about 4 minutes long, tops. I hope there are a few people out there who still shoot REAL film photography and create sepia the old way.

  • @HunterMann If you wanted to know how to do it using film, you should search google, not a photoshop tutorial.

  • Too many steps for a simple process.

  • @Trevoc2 The process, any process, when done right yields a result that you don't even know how to look at. This is a professional showing you how to do it the pro way. Either listen and learn to get more out of your investment, or go to amateur hour with another tutorial.

  • can you colorize a photo that was taken in sepia mode?

  • prolly not :S

  • desaturate then add colors

  • Thanks a lot for the nice tut. Really helped me and taught me some nice tricks too

    =)

  • Haven't a clue how good this tutorial is! I lost the will to live through it before he got off the stock photos! Yawn.....

  • I wanted to know how to simply do a sepia effect and this guy's over here showing me other crap!! Get to the point! What you titled your video as!

  • you are very slow ZzzZz

  • You are Da Man!! your tutes are superb!

  • plese I need this picture, where I can get it?

  • What brigde it is?

  • i think is teh bell tower at venecia

  • what bridge it is?

  • great!

  • I understand there's many different ways to do the same thing in photoshop, but honestly, I've never used channel mixer to convert to B&W, why is that better? And why so many layers when you could just make snapshots after each new adjustment? And why not just use color balance to create sepia? or a customized photo filter? How is his way better than the MUCH faster ways? I wish I knew...maybe I'm missing something...

  • Gypsylens, he may take a long time but I've learned a lot!

He does know a lot and if he's showing off, so what? It doesn't bother me, why does it bother you?

  • thx!

  • This guy takes 3 minutes and 28 seconds of his 10:45 minutes to talk about adjusting the pictured and cropping instead of showing how to do sepia. Then he goes into this long method of creating sepia. There are simpler ways to do this.

He is yet another self absorbed show off of how much he knows. Why cant these guys just teach and not be so self absorbed with themselves?

  • you could look at it that way, but in this tutorial i learnt more than just sepia tones. stop being a prick and belittlinga good, in depth, tutorial

  • Ryan Murphy, didn't I see you at the London Gay Parade recently? I could swear you were not wearing your "I am Gay" shirt, or your pants. When you call someone a "prick", look at the mirror and see your dark face ....its my penis you are looking at ....PRICK!

  • before jumping on your high horse for me calling you a prick maybe you should stop being so homophobic. and i wouldn't put yourself down like that.

"its my penis you are looking at ....PRICK! " that could be interpretted wrong

  • Wow, thats mad lame.

  • @GypsyLens You don't know shit about this, that's why you think he knows too much and self-absorbed. You're way more self-absorbed, because what you do is definitely second rate and will never be first rate because you have no idea what's important. This is the only guy who cares enough to actually give you stuff you didn't know you would need. You're using literally $45 of a $700+ application. He's showing you how to get your money's worth. That's if you actually bought it.

  • @GypsyLens He was being thorough, not dickish; you need to have a higher level of confidence in strangers

  • @GypsyLens you are watching his tut get off your fucking high horse stfu and take notes there is a reason why you are watching his tutorials p.s. nice vid

  • yep ii bearly understand you ...some times

  • hey ur vids are gr8, but i think u need to talk longer or something cuz its hard to hear u in ur vids...not just this one..

  • is not just easier to go to , image, adjustments and do a photo filter, and selct sepia. but this looks more professional

  • thanks bro very easy to follow

  • I wish your skills were in a pill I could swallow. I've got a gargantuan project (a labor of love) that I'm doing and it would go SO much faster if I had your expertise. Yes, wishing, I know, I know...

  • where is the delete button you was talkin about?

  • "Delete" is on your keyboard.

  • gracias totales bro por el tuto

  • thank you verey much

    you tutorial is great

    i realy liked it thank

    you again

  • haha

    tnx

  • Good Job .... Thanks For TutoriaL

  • brilliant! well done.

  • great tutorials.

i respect people who do these kind of things and expect nothing in return.

    peace :)

  • how do you save as jpeg? I was only given PSD options. Thank you.

  • you go to Image -> Mode and tick RGB Color. Then hit Flatten image and u can save the file in JPEG.

    have fun :)

  • You have to go from 16 bit, to 8 bit, check the video at: 4:42 or so, because if you have 16 bit or 32 it won't let you save it as a jpeg I think and I don't know why i'm kindda guessing here.

  • Thank you so much!!!! Your tutorials are excellent and easy to follow! Hope many more are to come =)

    Merci!

  • I can't find "feather" under "select"... I use CS3, does that mean anything??

  • In CS3 you go: Select/Modify/Feather or Select/Refine Edge/Feather. Remember you have to create a selection first, else you won't activate these items.

  • How was in the Black Layer's background convert to white?

  • Try hitting Ctrl(Cmd)+I that may help you out.

  • The Photoshop Master!!!!!!

  • Great tutorials man. You've got the best ones I've found yet. I've only had the program 1 week and am impressing everyone with my photos. If these idiots think you talk too fast, then they can hit pause or rewind a little like I did. You can't stop after every step to wait for us to try it out. Keep up the good work!!!!

  • that was a really good tutorial mate

    5 stars

  • good...but you speak fast. but its nice!! great job!

  • uhhh no affeince but you speak fast at times but astill great tuts

  • You are a good instructor!

  • THank you...i was just about to look for a video that talked about the sepia effect. Didn't know how to do it, then i saw your new released video and i didnt have to look no further. thanks
