Now I'm gonna head to toys are us too!! WHy the hell have I been ordering this stuff from expensive hobby shops when I could just run up the road and get one that won't hurt me! Damn Brian why didn't we think of that!! HAHAHA!!!!
I am for shure gonna pick one of these up from somewhere like TOYS "R" US and try this stuff out how much are they at places like TOYS "R" US? And are the blades like rubber or foam so if you get hit buy the blades it won't hurt you?
I had my GV1 set @ 1950, but as you noticed the engine sounds very rich, and was unable to maintain a consistent head speed. But i've got all the bugs worked out now, and the heli is flying great. I've tached my head speed @ 1960+/- with the engine cylinder head temp coming in about 185 degrees +/-. The little Y.S. is defiantly on the pipe and running good now.
thats great, ye i bump mine up with the O.S 91, to 2000 gives it a little extra snap! just got mine rebuilt tonight from a battery exploding and going through the blades,
bad luck mate......every body crashes ..hope it wasn't too expensive to fix. was it a fuel problem ? it did seem to be struggling through out the flight.
Ten months, you suck! I've been doing it for three weeks and can out fly the crap out you!!! Stalling motor my ass, you dumb thumbed that thing!! Why don't you get your ass to central Oklahoma and we will show you how to fly!! Texas pilots suck!!! Oh yea, how is the wife and kids!
You talk a lot of trash. Central Oklahoma huh? Fucking Inbred probably. What is the point of bashing some one that made a mistake after a long awesome flight. No point in that. If you have nothing good to say then SHUTUP! This hobby isnt about hatred or criticism.
HaHa, for your info the pilot is a good friend of mine and my heli mentor, hence asking about the wife and kids, the comment was made to make fun of the trash talk that people do on here. The imbred part was a little harsh though, this is Oklahoma not Arkansas! Good day!
@anythingthatflys My great grandmother was from Oklahoma and she always said the only difference between Oakies and Arkies was that an Oakie was just a souped up Arkie - I'll never forget her saying that LOL!
BTW, GREAT flight - those blades a popin' was music to my ears! Too bad it crashed :(
