  • @fennecfox10 whatever son keep watching this videos l

  • what is the difference between a wide Chest Fly and a close Chest Fly? will the small one decrease the chess muscle? and the big one make them bigger?

  • does weights increase hgh?

  • hey i have a question, im lifting weights since yesterday and i do it every day 50 times. And my question is: do i get a bigger chest, bigger arms and a sixpack if i do this for like 4 weeks? or do i need to do extra exercises for lower abs? and does my lower abs increase too or do they stay the same?

  • Chest flys are P.O.I.T.L.E.S.S .beginners like me you'll notice a difference with smart benching

  • @EZLALO4rmLA Funny you took all that time to spell out pointless and you spell it wrong XD

  • is there another way to build chest muscles without using the machine?

  • Nice, my school has one or two of these and I really need the arm strength.

  • i love exercising ma body for physical fitness

  • Hey Duke where are your glasses

  • I'm 13 only, 203lbs of solid, dope free power and I can chest fly over 100lb dumbbells NATURALLY, no drugs, and with perfect form, plus look good doing it!

    CHECK MINES OUT

    THANKS

  • @pullingout562 GOOD COMMENT NOGGA

  • best beginners videos hands down...thanks a lot

  • i would say this is one of the better chest exercises, but it takes time to get used to the motion. keep a good posture and keep the weight light at first, make good habits.

  • i tried 8 pounds and it really hurt

  • is there any alternative exercise for this, I mean something like chest fly but not on this machine. Asking cause I don't have it at my gym. Please reply

  • @theflake90

Google dumbbell fly and click the first link, theres an animation of it.

  • @theflake90 my soon to be gym got like 4 of these they redid the gym made it bigger they got everything even got a boxing ring on the upper level

  • ExpertVillage is amazing! Thumbs up if you agree.

  • Did these today, My chest is TORN up.

  • I use this machine all the time - I do 15-12-8 and then immediately decrease the weight by 10lbs for a quick 3 or 4 reps, decrease by 10 lbs. again and rep out. Awesome burn.

  • Have a question,

You said 15 reps, but how many sets should we do.

    Thanks.

  • @saavedramarcelo Typically anything above ten reps should only be done in 3 sets. Any more than that constitutes as over training unless you only plan to do one or two exercises for a body part. As you lower the reps, you can increase the number of sets. Example: the average weight lifter usually does 4 sets of 8. But, lets say you want to train for more strength and go down to 6 reps, then you can do 5 sets.

  • Duke Nukem! Nice video!

  • actually, you can go wider because it would activate more muscle fibers allowing for more growth.

  • Yes thanx alot for these vidz really learnt a lot now i can go to the gym and no wat im doing. haha!

  • weight lifting is too hard for me why would you put yourself through this i get tired just watching it

  • @terrapatra Why? To get muscle, lose weight. You wont get muscle by sitting on the couch all day! No pain, no gain.

  • @Gwunty yeah but i tried lifting a 10 pound dumbell and passed out then it fell on me and i broke my leg because it was too hard

  • @terrapatra You can't be serious? If lifting a 10 pound dumbell makes you pass out then try working on cardio. After a while, start with about 5 pounds dumbells and after a couple weeks increase the weight a bit as you feel yourself getting stronger. I'm not responsible if you get hurt using this method, though. ;) Make sure to do 15 reps per day for five days a week while following this routine. If you start to feel woozy, let go and take a break and possibly visit a doctor.

  • @Gwunty i can only get through 2 reps with a 5 pound dumbell

  • Well i can only do two reps with 5kg dumbells, but thats 2x your amount, its only the fact of holding em um, ima get a home gym.

  • @terrapatra i don't know it that was serious or not, but i had to laugh a little bit when i read that.

  • @DudMan2111 it was serious

  • @terrapatra Thats kinda sad, i mean its hard i can only do 2 reps of that at my age (16) but its not that hard.

  • @clarkkent190 i think i tore my bicep while trying to get a third rep with the 5 pound dumbell so now i really got a good reason not to lift weight

  • @terrapatra how is that possible man? 10 pounds, are you really young?

  • @noremorse126 im 27 years old

  • hahahaha his so stiff

  • Proper way to do this one is 15-10-8-6-6 with increasing weight. I love this exercise.

  • this is great for shaping the muscle it doesnt really build the thickness though..

  • 8 to 12 reps in 1 set

  • @SI3MSON 8 to 12? Do max weight on 6 reps, it'll be much more effective.

  • I'm doing 10 reps 4 sets of this with 5kg on each dumbbell, I move the sets up every month then the next month after I add on more weight.

What other foods can I get protein from other than fish, eggs and chicken, don't want to eat to much protein as I get the odd flareup of gout.

  • Try a wheybolic Protein Shake From GNC. (WheyBolic Extreme 60 I think its called) GREAT stuff! Also for your eggs, Try to eat egg whites only

  • @SorenAndrews

Forget all of this supplements! Nobody needs that chemical crap!

Eat natural! your body will thank your for that!

    FORGET SUPPLEMENTS!

  • @Pabbicus no it won't

  • he would do probly max

  • thanks!

  • when u say reps is that the amount of times your suppose to lift the weights?

  • yeah

  • yep

  • so for upper chest you lower your seat or with dumbells you lift more above your head instead above chest?

  • these are great videos! I am an avid weightlifter, power lifter and bodybuilder, and I really like this instruction. You can learn a great amount.

  • @lavampire you do olympic lifting, power lifting and bodybuilding? no.

  • What is the most important difference between this and dumbells/benchpress? Is this more something for beginners because you nearly can't do it wrong, or is there anything else?

  • a press will generally develop the depth in your chest where as a flye will help with width and the outer areas. flyes are very important and always will be

  • well...benching actually works whole lots of muscles like triceps n biceps...but pec fly usually focuses on chest.........but benching is a very important workout....it builds your overall strength

  • nub

  • if u got anything better to say asshole.........then let us know......your stupid one word comment is not gonna make a difference...

  • chill out, nub.

  • Haha, chill the fuck out.

    Nub.

  • how do you even out ur chest if one is slightly smaller

  • it evens out over time man. don't worry too much about it. just keep training consistently

  • thanks one of my friends suggested push ups

  • try not always doing barbell all the time, make sure you throw some dumbell presses in , that way each pec works on its own

  • i think I was doing this wrong at the gym, my shoulders seemed to be more sore.. i think i am going back too far, glad you have this up here...

  • Yes, if you go too far, you can cause an impingement in your shoulder...not good.

  • hmmm may be just different technique, but advice from some experts is that the hands should not touch each other in front, you should leave a bit of a gap, say about a fist width

  • I think thats more of a personal taste. I always do the flyer at the end of my chest training and like to pull it slowly all together then let it spread a little then press together again and then release it slowly.

  • can anyone tell me if this is a good exercise for the inner chest cause the outer part of my chest is nice but the inner is complete garbage, there is absolutly nothing there and i need to find a workout that really targets the inner chest

  • Do this with dumbells on an inclined bench for your inner chest.

  • If you're talking about that middle line between your chest then think of the bench press except instead of putting your hands on the far sides of the bar, move then close to the middle. The more you move your hands towards the middle of the bar the more the middle of your chest has to work.

  • for the inner chest try some ol' fashion benching. i gotta bowflex extreme which is perfect for the chest

  • NICE THANKZ

  • Do not use the grip hes using, it causes shoulder impingement. Use the other grip its better for your shoulder.

  • Thanks so much for the informative vids for a beginner like me who is more of an outdoors person.

  • howmany of weight flys are in one rep?

  • THANK YOU FOR VIDEO VERY SIMPLE

  • a Nice workout would be a Super Set, 6 reps break 15 seconds 3 reps more break 15 seconds and the reps as far you can , thats all the exercise por chest at the day. The Next Day you will Feel how your muscles are very congestioned

  • ty for this video and being so thorough with your explanation. When i did these b4 i was reaching too far i think and it hurt my back and strained it

  • He says its a beginners workout but i think its a great exercise for all levels because it forces you to keep great form under higher weights.

  • this is a great video. i tend to 4get alot of this stuff. and i play football and as a football player we tend to force alot of weight on ourselves.

  • Great, thanks for the tip - I was always spreading my arms out too wide open when doing chest flies. But I have problems exhaling when contracting my muscles - and that is with any exercise I do. Any tips please? Is it a matter of getting use to it?

  • go lighter so that you can work on your breathing technique

  • That's a pretty long vid title

  • suppoust i only have weights how many workouts can I do, how many differences>? there are?

  • great vid, the basic stuff is what you tend to forget

  • THANKS SOO MUCH!! am going to workout in 2 hours and am a biginer so thats good for me

  • THANK YOU FOR VIDEO VERY SIMPLE
