On the one hand, he looks as though he's trying to smooth things over, in hopes everything will be alright in the end (like jimmy swaggert crying before God). but then on the other hand, he gives me the impression he's loving the attention and the chance to "relive" some of the emotions he felt inflicting pain on his victims by taunting the victim's families.
