I do agree that we give hand-outs far too easily but I don't think we should get rid of them completely. They just need to be regulated a bit more strictly.

The problem with hand-outs in the UK is that people can get equal to that of someone who is working. That is messed up and creates no incentive to find work.

@HonorahWalshe Adult immigrants should also be required to take classes to learn about diversity, the new country and it's culture and laws, and also be made to take classes until they are proficient in English. If an immigrant succeeds in doing this within a certain time frame he should be given citizenship and if he fails he should be deported and barred from returning.

The problem with teaching adult immigrants is that it costs a lot of money. Maybe when we're in a healthier economic climate this idea can be put forward but for now we have to do our best to integrate the younger generations which our education system, from what I see, is failing to do but on both sides. I don't really think faith schools should exist. Christian or otherwise, religion should be left private at home. What I was talking about is schools in the same counsel have been separating white students from ethnic minorities. I think that is wrong, cultures should experience each other from a young age to help integration. I know this because I went to a primary school with a huge mix of people and our school slogan was "the world in our school" we were THAT diverse. Haha.

A few years ago The Sun newspaper asked the question "Do we really want Capital punishment back" almost 100,000 people responded to this and 99% said "yes"

Now The Sun's target audience is the Christian, as you can tell from what the newspaper contains within it.

In America, a population which is predominantly Christian has the death penalty in 35 of 51 states...

Now let's get down to specifics. The way I see it there are 5 (correct me if you think I'm wrong) possible outcomes to the influx of Muslims in Europe. 1.) They are eventually reasoned into accepting western values. 2.) Their view, either through conversion, or sheer volume of reproduction, and immigration becomes the dominant view. 3.)Immigration of Muslims is blocked. 4.) Genocide, imprisonment, or deportation of Muslims by the majority.

5,) If the majority waits so long to respond that when they try to implement 3, or 4 civil war erupts because they no longer have overwhelming power. Now if you're an optimist you might believe number one to be most likely, and it might be, but how long do you wait before implementing 3, which is the least painful of the other alternatives, or do you prefer 2, because as far as I'm concerned that isn't an option.

That way, rather than just waiting an hoping for assimilation, we can actually steer the process. I would assume that anyone who actively breaks laws concerning the rights and freedoms of others would be subject to deportation if they are an immigrant.

1) There are some new schools of Islam which are teaching a more Western way of life and how this can coincide with their beliefs, though I do not know the particulars DawahFilms used to talk of them.

2) I think the Catholic Church in Europe will always reign supreme.

3) I disagree with a complete blocking of immigration on anyone, if someone is determined enough to bring you harm they will find a way.

You talk about people holding fundamentally different views about things basic to society and this can be seen as the failure of multiculturalism, however, this can be seen as the failure of everything... the political spectrum, for example, where those further right feel more strongly about homosexuals having equal rights and a minority even feel women have too many rights.

Some feel quite strongly against the right to freedom of expression, such as following a religion.
