  • Cod uses symbols black ops has plenty blow up the cars you see all seeing eye Baphomet the symbols are located in some of the cars on some maps also cod 2 uses symbols illuminati and all seeing eye but you can't get away from the symbols.. But they get worst depending on what game you play. Like most games have all seeing eyes but you'll see 666 in more games that use demonic stuff like fear skyrim

  • Here are all the games I will be taking back too m local gamestop. Alone in the dark Harry potter Lego uses witch craft from the real satanic magic bibles the spells are real they use. Condemned1 2 Base on cult.silent hill homecoming cult. bioshock dragon age origins some type Templars or freemason cult Alice madness uses satanic 666 symbols satanic fear 3 satanic spirits. All these games give me bad feelings when playing them which says too me stay away.

  • Thanks for your video. This helps as a matter of fact I just spoke with someone from my church. Games Christian shouldn't be playing and I am told very violent ones that sacrafist meaning like skyrim dark brothers hood games that use witch craft. All have satanic symbols in them.I notice that the closer I get too god it's like if the games not for me my spirit will let me know in my chess I get this uneasy feeling

  • Marys just a whore

  • I do believe that as long as the spirit guides you to play a game and it is not constricted then its a good game to play.

I believe that games like Saints row and GTA should never be even considered due to it is agreeing that prostitution, crime, rape, etc it is being considered as acceptable behavior.

God bless and Praise the Lord at all times.

  • When i get a Game i look at the Ten Commandments and if a game is Causing me to Break a Commandment i don't play it! I do the same thing with movies, IMO "Violent" Video games are not "Bad" With a few exceptions I personally don't like GTA Because you are NOT a good guy...But i don't judge other people i know that play it, because they might not have the same Convictions as me!

  • i agree completely man, idk man i just, thats exactly how i feel when it comes to my spiritual life and games, if it isn't right, and goes against what jesus stands for, im not going to play it, but sometimes i need to get stress out wether it be reading my bible and bumping that hillsong and jesus culture or hanging out and encouraging a newly converted friend of mine on xbox whos just starting his relationship with jesus. YOU need any prayers man? inbox me

  • I'm 18 by the way. But my last issue is these parents who fail to take care of their kids and use games as a babysitting tool is just WRONG. So in short if a Christian/Non-Christian has discernment and can distinguish surreal for reality and not become fully desensitized, then video games are totally acceptable. In Deus Ex HR I'm playing as the good guy, I have the option to do evil just like almost every other game but I enjoy having a proper moral balance.

  • I have played some pretty crazy shit and can say it made me feel sick and I couldn't finish, i.e. Postal 2 among other games, Stuff like GTA, Just Cause 2, ALL OPEN WORLD/Sandbox titles I have a fantastic time with and do come back time and again. I personally find CoD to be boring after like an hour or 2. I discussed GTA with my youth pastor back in the day and explained how I used it for driving better. Video games have helped my eye-hand coordination as well. But yeah, it's debatable.

  • I think the main issue is a lot of kids who play these games become desensitized by the violence and such. I've been playing games since I was 3 with Sonic 2 on the Genesis. Like you I've progressed to more advanced consoles and games, but I have a strong foundation and can distance myself from the virtual world, although I do find a lot of games like Fallout to be VERY addictive. My best friend loves Borderlands and such. So I guess it all comes down to the individual.

  • In my opinion, some games are approprate for christians and some are not. If you are playing, for instance, black ops, if you are treating it as a game and nothing more, its okay. On the other hand, if you carry the game into real life by pretending or even talking about the game, you are too involved. I was surprised, walking through GameStop, when i saw the game Saw (the horror movie). I dont know what the objective of the game is, but i assume its torture, and i think those games are bad.

  • I see a lot of dumb comments and I can only say good things about games.I learned english playing a lot of games, started to be more creative and imaginative, had fun, learned alot from games and made me think more about life and other stuff.Same thing with movies. You christians are obssessed with what is sin and what is not and its really retarded.Games cant do no harm so I dont see what wrong? If you want to be better christian or whatever dont rant about this stupid topic and go out and help.

  • @ProblemForSolution SAME HERE!

I learned English playing games and watching cartoon network when it was available on analog in europe xD my friends give me shit for talking them into watching films with subtitles and original dubs xD

GAMES made me HATE WAR, CRIME, THEFT, MILITARISM, DICTATORSHIPS, CORRUPTION, TORTURE and DOUBLE STANDARDS!

I would shit myself if WW3 broke out right now because I can imagine what would happen with us.

Also GAMES unite rather than to part.

    G4L

  • i think its ok has long has it dose not get in the way of our worship to god :)

  • the support the death penalty. they hung black slaves. they forced indigenous people to convert or die, so yeah they can..

  • I think the games being played depend on who is playing them. For example, if a person is struggling with cussing, it may not be a bad idea to stay away from games with strong language if it is clearly a factor of influence. I have been cussing since before video games ever became as popular as they are now. So these games don't affect me any worse than anything else we have in society. To me, there is NO REASON a game should have nudity or strong sexual content PERIOD. No need for it.

  • @Gaming4Jesus what about Games about Sex and Rape? (ask the Japanese)... carnal sin right there huh? Let me put it this way:

There is demand for such games and there is an industry... if u dont like it then fuck you. Thats what the tobaco industry told me when I demanded to stop the production of cigarettes cause they are REALLY harmful to minors and everybody else.

  • @USEYAHOO

Since you obviously enjoy games with Sex, Rape, and Nudity enough to defend them, I guess I will go ahead and say a pray for you. If you reply with your real name, I'll even put you on our prayer list in Sunday School Class. Just because there is a demand for it, and an industry that meets that demand, that doesn't make it right. Christians who struggle in those areas should stay away from it. And people like you who enjoy it, probably should get out more.

  • computer games that are too violent should be taken away from anyone that is young

  • I think it is OK to play violent games...I make what I call a distinction between real sin and fake sin. Sounds goofy I know but in real life stealing cars would, of course, be sinful. But, in a video game fun! Of course I tend to take the 'good' path, in Bioshock I rescued the little sisters instead of killing them. Since, I could not kill a little kid even in a game.

  • As long as you're camping in a corner and not bugging people about eternal torment or sending them to their eternal torment, do what you want in your little corner.

It's no more a waste of time than the church gossips that spend their lives on facebook or watching tv. In fact, you're less likely to gossip about other people while shooting other people in the heads, so keep shooting. It's less destructive in the end.

4 of 5 will go to hell forever from my guesses. who cares? nobody huh

  • @RoastedLocust

LOL You may want to GOSSIP to a teammate that he is about to enter an ambush location!!! LOL

  • @typkristian Fable 3 is decieving...I would go with TES:Morrowind, or TES:Skyrim... Earthbound is also pretty good.

  • Good job! :D I really liked watching this! :D I do Christian commentaries on my channel so i have several videos like this. But I'm kinda sucky ;)

  • ANYONE WANT TO JOIN A 777 GOD'S HOLY NUMBER MW3 CLAN!? BETWEEN 4PM TILL 11PM WE HAVE MW3 PARTYS BIBLE STUDYS AND GAMEBATTLES EVERYDAY ! IF YOU WANT TO JOIN ADD ME (AposaL 777) THANKS GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Justiin777 LOL amazing. It is amazing how evil gets true mining of christianity hidden behind video games, masking it by BIBLE STUDY and GAMEBATTLES EVERYDAY lol. Hey when you see satan, tell him i said LOL

  • @buffalo1d Though I agree that many people waste too much time on games, I fail to see video games as a complete and utter evil. A person who follows Christ should demonstrate His love through all he does: sports, school, hobbies, job, ect. (which all of those things are potential idols, too). Its all about priorities. If you thank God for the opportunity to enjoy the game and not put it above Him and His plan, I have no problem with a video game that does not praise immorality.

  • Didnt watch the whole lot but you make a very good point. We should apply Philippians 4:8 to everything.

Also, ask God for wisdom. Some of the video games may have profanity and be too violent which is horror (Satanic in nature too like Doom)

I would play sports games like FIFA. But put Christ first as these video games can be a distraction from Mark 16:15. God Bless

  • I don't think it's wrong to play video games. even though the bible says that you shouldnt kill, but think that it means living humans and in video games we just shoot nonliving pixel characters. :)

  • Hi guys i'm a christian gamer :) and i need help with finding a good RPG game like fable 3 ,arcania gothic 4 so if you have some recommends plzz answer me :)

  • quit justifying playing video games violent or not. instead of wasting hrs on games you could be going deeper in depth w/ studying the bible and understanding it better. Jesus says we must deny ourselves. He commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, how can a dying world be saved while you and others are sitting in front of a tv playing games for hrs. spend that time in the word, prayer, study to witness and win souls to Christ. don't waste your life on a game

  • @buffalo1d Why are you wasting your time commenting about how someone should live their life. Christ also says “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." So stop being a hypocrite and yes I am a hypocrite for judging you, but at least I admit it.

  • Thank you so much for this video. Ive been thinking about this topic for a few days now. It certainly helped me. I thank the guy up there for talking to us through you and your videos :) GBY

  • @@cmiddleton9872 I totally agree with you. Although many of us will never see the brutality of physical warfare, we each fight in the spirit daily. The shedding of blood should not be a huge deal to christians who claim His blood washed their sins away. Take a deep breath, then take a step back and realize that what you struggle with or are convicted by may not be the same for me. Don't condemn. Don't judge.

  • @cmiddleton9872 I find it hilarious that you say sir. I, my dear sirs am a madam. Lol. Thankx. I think by extension of my God's awesomeness I've done well :)

  • Dont you get it? Its things like this that make people think were uptight and cant have any fun. Things like video games are alright in Gods eyes as long as they dont over shadow him. God and his chosen have fought wars. We dont seem to mind Christians going onto the actual battlefield and fighting. It depends on the way you treat it. And remember, do not get mixed up in religion. Religion will get you no where, but only by the blood of Jesus are you saved. Its all about Gods love. Embrace it.

  • @cmiddleton9872 don't get me wrong though; I play violent RTS games, just not FPS 's where the gore and killing is more in your face; too much of this is a bad thing I'm sure we can all agree

  • @cmiddleton9872 Kally you and i have dicussion about region almost every day. and you probally have the most valid argument here. But my opinion is that God SAVED US. He gave us the knowalge to make these technologias. We should embrace his gift of Knowage but we should not let it overshadow him.

  • @mrlyon12 Great answer. God bless. :)

  • Video games are just video games. Demons do not live in video games. Demons do not live in objects, rather humans. Violent video games are not a sin, because demons do not live in video games. It's only a personal conviction, you can't tell someone what they can't do just because you feel you can't do it.

  • If we let's say playing violent games, are we then listening to satan?

And so, if it's forbidden to play violent games, what type of game genres are we allowed to play then?

And yes, I am Christian, with exactly the same question. But I've asked it to an pastor, and said: No it's forbidden, but people on the web says that it is allowed, but with limitations. So I'm really confused to who I have to listen.

Can you guys help me out?

  • @DJSFV12 listen to the Holy Spirit; I have, and It has told me to stay away from violence where you revel in the glory of killing other people; it's not fun, the challenge is, and it will dement your mind over time

  • @Xinthose Indeed. I've decided to stay away forever from any violence game on this planet. I'm even going to avoid even touching or watching these games in shops or wherever.

May God bless you and keep you!

  • @DJSFV12 thank you, you too sir

  • I don't think we should play them; but I do think strategy games are OK, because it's less graphic; for example, knifing someone in this game is full of blood, gore, and anger, and that's not right; but SC2 and DoW2 are OK kind of, but not really; and to the video poster --> you never answered your own question!

  • @BlacVelvet Sir, you are awesome.

  • @SilverHands1

Wow dude, it was just a joke. Who nailed you to a cross and left you to die?

  • your god shouldn't be the influence of your entire life, yes the basics of good will should always be used but when your playing a video game, since its "not real" those rules shouldn't apply. Also if your enjoying the game and it realistically isn't hurting anyone, wouldn't your god want you to enjoy yourself doing something that isnt at all "bad or evil"

  • @GoombaFTW hey man, my God is something that you give your life too. Now it is ok to go play a video game for a couple of hours then God will be ok with that. But if you go and cuss and give a bad name for christans then you should quit and pray about it.

  • I think it depends upon the Christian playing the game. I think it has to be base upon the free will of the Christian and not on Legalism.

  • I would think also how much time as CHristians do we play video games vs how much we read our bible and also how would it feel if GOd was right there with you be cause he is

  • god gave me the bible to seek guidance 2 pwn noobs in black ops...praise jesus everyday 420

  • @nordiquefb not funny

  • Are you a christian gamer?

  • ummmmm im un analist but frome my point of veu it seems that you aer rite

about youer apinyin and i play video games so i think that evin if it is vilunt if it makes you happy (and dosent efect youer apinyin in reil life unles youer a good giy) you shud play them

  • If you confident in your relationship with god and put him first you could play any game you want. Im Cristian and I play CoD, battlefield, elder scrolls, fallout, dead space, left 4 dead, gears of war and more. I think it's perfectly fine to love God and violent video games. Just love him more.

  • @cmiddleton9872 analyze your own life dude, it's not right wanting to kill people and to glory in all of the gore; it's OK to defend yourself in real life, but not actively seeking to kill other people all of the time, God would not approve I think; Remember GIGO --> Garbage In, Garbage Out, no matter what

  • @Xinthose I dont feel that you have the right to condemn me or rebuke me. I never mentioned always wanting to slaughter everyone I see. I feel youre taking me for one of the other hypocrites that say theyre cristian when they partake in sin behind the curtin. If I play a game with any choices I preffer to make the morally right one. I have never had the urge to kill anyone. I understand that the comment you replyed with was meant for help and I thank you for the love that you have showed me.

  • @cmiddleton9872 well what else are you doing in CoD if you aren't actively seeking to kill people all of the time? What is fun is the challenge of the game, but you have to draw the line when that challenge becomes too evil so to speak; Portal 2 is ok, but Rage is not in my opinion, two completely different games with different objectives; and like LetsLiveForHim said, it is completely wrong to kill innocent people virtually and have fun with it *to a certain degree of course*

  • @Xinthose Is any solder innocent? It doesnt matter. Virtual people cannot be innocent or guilty. THEY DONT EXIST. And do you know why it isnt bad to kill virtual people? They dont have souls. They cant lose their soul. They cant die lost and go to hell. Virtual people dont have familys that love them. God doesnt love virtual people like his children. When virtual people die, they respawn. Humans cant respawn(with another earthly life of corse). Video games arnt bad unless they over shadow Him.

  • @cmiddleton9872 yes, but then would it be ok to masturbate to anime? lusting after women that don't exist? I think not, because the sin is still on you just as "That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment" so then killing others virtually can still produce judgement upon you from God; back up your arguments with scripture

  • Im christian i play war games. The thing that guys dont understand is its JUST A GAME!

  • I'm a Christian gamer as well, I believe games are not bad as long as they aren't an addiction.

  • your gona burn in hell.

  • @rellik619555 who are you talkin about? richh or someone in the comments?

  • Its like simulation of killing. hehe

  • Nice video!

First of, I'm a christian gamer.

And I'm really glad to see that I'm not the only one :). I kinda feel the same way...

Like when people talk about Christians, it sounds like we can't do anything fun.

We're normal humans, but we have a realationship with God :). (Yes, I love violent video games. It's a GAME, c'mon...)

  • @Asutsi99 heres another christian gamer here! im matt and ive been a beliver all of my life and all of my family are christians! i love church! im a big time gamer!

  • @commando377 Nice!

  • @commando377 Me too! so happy that some Christians play halo!

  • Believer in God met me and became very close in my heart. Even though this person has not truly found God yet......there have been signs of desire to get back to the Christian way. I have always been taught that we should spread our knowledge and word to anyone that needs us. I believe that God needs us to reach to others through games as well. Maybe my arguement is not necessarily what I intended it to sound like. But I support the playing of violent video games as long as we are doing Gods wrk

  • As long as we are playing in God's name, following what he wants us to do, and not falling to the tempations that the games may offer, why would it be bad to play video games? I may be thinking backwards but how else are we supposed to spread our help to others who may need it within this game if we are confined to not playing it at all? There are people that we can talk to and save that may only reside in the world of Halo, Call of Duty, and others. For one instance, someone who is not a strong

  • I've been thinking about this. I really enjoy this video. Back within the Old Testament ,(As another commenter has already explained) God has given grace and help to people such as David who were involved within many battles in the name for Christ. David was fighting for God and did all that was expected of him except for one extreme notable sin within the Bible. If we take it as true that God finds it ok for people to fight as long as its for Him. Then can't we bring this to games?

  • Rich, I am so glad you are a Christian. It bothers me when people think that all Christians are so high class and stuck up if you feel the same way can you respond to me:)

  • I don't understand how you can claim to be analytical and still be religious. That's called an "oxymoron"

  • Comment removed

  • @jazzzplaymonkey And you're just a moron. That just means he likes to think stuff through. I don't see the issue.

  • God has commanded that we should not kill. So, even though it isn't in real life, by taking pleasure in killing characters online, we are in other words taking pleasure in the act of killing. Even if it isn't real, it's anti-Christian in nature. Imagine if Jesus played a video game like Counter Strike and took pleasure in headshots. Totally contradicts what HE is. So, i think it is definetely wrong to play violent video games since it is breaking the commandment to not kill, in another form.

  • @LetsLiveForHIM Youre God is the same God as my God. Isnt our God the one that sent an angel to hewn down 186,000 assyrians. Yes, he is that God. Killing and Murder are two completely different things. Murder is a sin. Not killing. God has hewned down the enemies of his Choosen People for a long time. Remember Gidieon, David, or Samson. God helped them defeat their enemies many times. Fighting a war in COD is way different than slaughtering innocents in Grand Theft Auto. Consider all the facts.

  • play good vs evil (angels vs demons) your always killing bad guys in black ops thats the good thing have fun . GOD created evil just to be destroyed .GOD BLESS n if anyone has xbox360 loves god and jesus add my gamertag Vonn GOD x please i started a black ops clan 777 the holy number clan and we need good christine gamers.

  • @Justiin777 God didn't created evil... Its Satan's decision to be Bad and evil. Its like having a son and all you want for him is to be a good person, but sadly when he grew up he became rebellious and bad... Angels Have free will too. I hope its clear now Brother. God Bless you. :)

  • whatever you think Jesus would do that is the answer, being a christian means you are a follow us Christ meaning you are trying to walk in his footsteps so whatever he would do and would not do that is what you do or do not do if you call yourself a christian other wise you are not true christian you are just religious and being a true christian is about having a relationship with Jesus, repenting and loving all and living HOLY and forgiving everyone and obeying him... not about being religious

  • Its as ok as masturbating. :)

  • @paradiddle80 Watch Lonnie Mackley-Can Masturbation Send You To Hell.

I know you probably don't give a care about this topic, but give the video a chance. You won't regret.

  • I wish there was a thou shalt not play black ops :|

  • I'm cool with it as long as they don't piss people off!

  • "talk to god, and ask god questions " or to spaghetti monster as well XD

  • I've been thinking about this lately also. I've kind of concluded that violence is not always bad. I mean, people go to war. The Bible talks about violence. Heck, God blew up those two towns in the Old Testament. War happens. I don't think there is anything wrong with playing a video game with guns and blood. But when it gets into drugs, sex and foul language, I think we need to draw the line. I'm not really convinced that magic is exactly evil, but I'm still thinking on that one.

  • You should try Call of Satan.

  • I am a Christian, and while playing Silent Hill 3 I have noticed stuff that speaks against religion. It is upsetting that they have stuff like this, but I agree that in the end it is the person's fault for being accepting bad messages as good and I think it is okay to play stuff like that as long as it doesn't harm your relationship with God.

  • Should Christians play violent video games? Are you kidding?

Have you read the old testament?

God has ordered the slaughter of many villages.

God loved blood & the smell of burning flesh (a sacrifice)

Moses ordered the butcher of 3000 innocent Jews who refused to follow this mad man.

God murdered every human on earth except one family.

In the new testament Jesus says bring those before me who will not follow and slay them before me.

Yes, it's perfectly fine for Christians to play violent games.

  • There were the Christian Crusaders & Christian Radicals, abortion clinic bombers. There is a great deal of bloodshed in relation to Christians. Christian American soldiers kiss the cross on their necklace before they drop bombs on Baghdad Apartment complexes full of innocent families. What we do as a Radical Christian nation does not compare to what we term Muslim Radicals, they just want us to stop so they retaliate so what does it hurt if Christians play violent video games?

  • @GlobalAwareness2525 that was a parable and he was quoting what the king said Jesus didnt actually tell say that he just quoted what the king said in the parable of the ten minas he was talking about

  • Ofc they can, "we can".

I play lots of violent video games, even when I am the bad guy. I don't see a problem with it. You should be able to do the same thing as everyone else. I just wanna have fun as a Christian, and I do! :)

  • christians CAN play video games, but its up to THEM to decide what games to play, and what games to let their kids play.

i kid could be 7, but its the PARENT'S duty to stop them from playing silent hill or Dead Space.

its the game maker's duty to make those games, the censor's duty to rate them

and those 2 have been doing a great job.

but its the parents who are to stop kids form playing them.

if YOU buy a violent game for your kid and let them play it, you have LOST the right to complain.

  • well im not a christian, but i think its ok to play violent video games for christions i mean Halo is ok because your defending human life but games like cod and gta, and so on are bad

  • well im not a christian, but i think its ok to play violent video games for christions

  • well im not a christian, but i think its ok to play violent video games

  • *there

  • I've heard that they use violent video games to teach soldiers to shoot without hesitating as most people who care about other humans will usually do. I guess if you never hold a gun then you don't have to worry but what if their are other effects?

  • I think this kind of game is fine. But games like grand theft auto because of the clubs is wrong.

  • im caholic also but if your playin call of duty i mean that stuff is actually hppening but if your playing fallout i mean your playing something that might happen 3hundred years from now i dont think its all that bad to play violent video games my opinion

  • Comment removed

  • Cause chistian not cretin darn auto spell

  • By up tight Christian what do u mean protestant Lutheran born again

Cause cretin is a huge variety with many variations

  • when you play these games you're not harming anyone....just images that happen to look somewhat like people...

  • I say it's fine to play these games,

because...honestly.....They're just games.....what happens inside of them isn't real I:

  • you know what's weird i had a lock-in at my church with my youth group, and I brought My xbox and halo. My leaders actually let me play it.

  • i understand what you are saying

  • -3 shooting an avatar

  • no mortal kombat for christians oh god no dont let them rip of heads and just be on a killing rampage

  • @thearbiter75 sry were not muslims

  • What would you say about Gears of War 3

  • are you a Christian because i'm one and you are a big fan of mine

  • I'm a Christian, But seriously, if it's just an Ai player, Aim for the face.

  • what game was that

  • im an atheist, why did i watch this?

  • Christians are so mind controlled that they can't do shit ! HAHA

  • It should not matter since it is not real it is a virtual game therefore it does not apply by the way the halo games you can see similarities to the crusades. any ways thats off topic. Remember its a game if you die you are ok its not like the matrix

  • (Continuation)

Even speaking about bad things is not a good thing. Here is another thought, video games, and television is one form of communication. It's not good for people to talk about killing people, so neither is it good to play violent video games. Please take this thought into consideration.

  • "BE not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them."

    -Proverbs 24:1 KJV

There is definitely a reason why many parents do not allow their children to be friends with other children who do pretty bad things. The parents are afraid of influence.

  • Well, I agree on games like Halo because you arn't killing inoccent humans or what not, and for the multi player when you or another dies...they respawn, and its not vulgar at all. Now games like grand theft auto...well i see it as a trashy game that isn't very good.

  • @KoBaCaaTT YEAHA! I came online a 5:05 (im Jelly Bizzle) hahaha

  • the answer is bcause i am a christian i say yes btw jesus ftw

  • ...hell for killing a few covenant, locust or spetznaz.

  • i'm with every one else here who is a catholic/christian gamer, it's not real so there's no problem unless you actually do what your doing in the game(and those people are either retarded or need mental help)and i'm annoyed with the over-christian/catholic people going around saying "HALO, CALL OF DUTY AND GEARS OF WAR ARE DEMONIC AND HAVE TO DO WITH WAR, THEY ARE A SIN AND SHOULD NOT BE PLAYED OR SOLD!!!!!" I mean seriously IT'S A FUCKING GAME MEANING NOT REAL GET OVER IT! i'm not going to...^

  • As a Christian that plays COD and Halo games, I was thinking about doing a commentary just like this in the near future. I was actually surprised to find this. I like what you had to say and it makes sense. I guess I will try to go a little deeper into this subject when I finally get to do it. Thanks for doing this.

  • It's not what game you play that makes it "sin", but what you do as a result of playing a game. Like if I go around in Black Ops stabbing people it would not matter because it is only animated, but if I stab people in parking lots because Black Ops influenced me then I would have to go to Rehab or something. As long as none of the 10 Commandments are being broken, then video games are okay to play no matter how violent.

  • My parents let me play every single call of duty game but I can't play halo i hate what do u think? Please respond

  • the real thing is is that you have to have a balance between violence and non violence games

  • Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

    - Romans 12:2

  • So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

    - 1 Corinthians 10:31

  • Its fiction, you dont mean it (i hope)

  • Religion is bullshit atheism is bullshit lables are bullshit so my answer would always be o-k :)

  • well i think that if you are playing as a hero trying to save the world or even a inter galatic race thats ok but if gta or a diferent game that you comit crime because you want to that is mesed up dude

  • @Hobo7o its not just praying, its believing. we sin, which is bad, so God cant let that into heaven. And its really been Muslims that cause killing.

  • @Cancerboy0 agreed, finally someone isnt scared to say that

  • @lukekellycopy i never will be afriad to say that.

  • i say that you can play as long as it wont affect the way you think or act. I think thats what God would want

  • @beatlerocker99

Um...I don't think anyone has stated anything like that on this channel or on its videos...

  • @RelentlessRichh sorry, my little brother.

  • @RelentlessRichh Hey i have been gaming for i long time my first console was the N64, and i have been looking on someone to discuss the violent thing about video games with. I am a christian, and i would say good vs. evil games are okay, but what about the online for those games.

  • @MrInfamousFish i know i was thinking about that too, but i personally feel in my spirit convicted about it. i mean lets face it we all get angry online at one point or another... and i just cant justify games like black ops any more,

  • @bluesBro18 yeah i do get mad when i play Cod, hopefully some other games come out that are that violent. Thanks for commenting back and take care man!

  • @RelentlessRichh Um... But it's true...

  • @beatlerocker99 do you believe in evolution?

  • @beatlerocker99 well if u believe in evolution, that is just a theroy, not fact. Evolutionists say mutations are what caused creatures to evolve, but that would take a huge amount of new genetic information and there is no thing that can. mutations only take away genetic information, not add.

  • @beatlerocker99 Way to make us atheists look like arrogant instigating assholes. Good job chief. Most of the christian responses on the comment list are leaps and bounds more thoughtful than yours.

My 2 cents: I'm an avid Atheist and have never seriously considered violence toward anyone. Acting upon a violent video game is just like being a World War 2 buff and killing over it's influence. Violence has been around long before electronic entertainment. The deciding factor is a rational mind.
