I just got off the phone with a politician I know in Israel and the Israeli military has responded to Hamas' terror attacks an operation called ENDGAME that he says will kill hundreds of thousands of Palestinian terrorists. He said that Hamas started missile strikes first and Israel plans on putting a permanent end to the terrorism. I asked if the military is considering nuclear options and he said it is on the table. They hope IRAN gets in the fighting so they can bomb thier nuclear facility[
they have seen hell. i agree with you. i read their letters published in newsweek and i shed tears for them. but your gotta see the whole picture. i'm not in the position to say whose wrong or right. I'm sad about the whole thign too but you gotta see and understand the whole thing. it's easy to blame just one person. but it isn't right to do so.
If you arrest Bush, arrest Tony Blair as well. Blair and Alistair Campbell created the "Downing Street Memo" that sent our troops and yours into Iraq for NOTHING.
Lives wasted for jack shit. The world is unsafer thanks to that stupid fuckwit.
And before you say it was justified to free a nation from a dictator, when are we invading Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Russia, China... the list goes on!
You stupid shit. That rumor's been debunked for months.
McCain was the one who wasn't a natural born US Citizen. He was born in the Panama Canal zone before it was a us territory or whatever. Congress had to essentially give him a pass to run for president, which they happily did given his military record.
If McCain didn't want to stand next to Bush at the Republican Convention or on the campaign trail then why should our troops be forced to? Why would anybody want to be photographed with the Worst President in History?
Bush should just leave right now. Obviously America hates him.
Sure, but wait until he's out of office and his power is stripped away before talking trash to that degree. Right not it's nice to imagine that man being imprisoned on his ranch - a life sentence without parole. A man like that can never walk free again. France has already attempted to arrest Rumsfeld...the Bush dude is not the traveling kind anyway so he's stuck in that hell hole Texas.

that soldier should be kicked out, that's nonsense to disgrace the leader of the nation like that. Bush gets blamed for a lot of shit that he didn't cause. He faced largest terrorist attack on US soil and responded with the nation. They Iraq war was wrong and regretted but the cost of that war does not compare to the cost of the economic crisis right now, which was caused by low interest rates during Clinton's term.Clinton lucked out with a prosperous economy. Was part of economic cycle.
That's such horseshit. Bush spent 9 months of his Presidency ignoring the threat of terrorism despite repeated warnings. One presidential briefing stated in blatant, obvious terms "Bin Laden determined to strike in the U.S". What did Bush do about it? Nothing. No heightened state of alert or increased focus on possible al Qaeda in America.
He was on vacation when he got that briefing by the way - maybe that's his excuse. Either way 2,974 people died on his watch as a result of his negligence.
It's actually up to the president to "protect and defend the U.S. against all enemies foreign and domestic" remember? He didn't even meet with the head of CIA counter terrorism until after 9/11. Admit it, Bush dropped the ball. He dropped the ball on 9/11, Tora Bora, Iraq, Katrina, the Economy, the Roadmap to Peace, etc, etc. It's not 20/20 hindsight, it's a proven record of failure.
You'd have a hell of a time coming up with anything positive Bush did for this country in the last 8 years.
The economy was not his fault. Economy was caused by over consumption that started during the 70's, and Clinton's everyone should have a house plan emphasized it with the mortgage backed securities. Bush was calling for more regulation in 2002. But you are right, Bush isn't and wasn't a good leader, but the American people voted for him in 2004, and supported his views. The other institutions like FEMA failed as well, Bush can't control everyones actions, but could have stepped up more.
The economy was his fault. Do you really think that a worldwide recession and 7 Trillion dollar crisis (and counting) was caused by tens of thousands of low income foreclosures? Throw away your Hannity and Limbaugh talking points for a second and look up "credit default swaps".
Credit default swaps and derivatives were created before Bush's time. Mortgage backed securities were created in the 70's. And yes foreclosures played a huge part in the problem, MBS were created by banks and sold to investors, who took loans they couldn't afford, and then they used CDS's to insure their positions. So everything is tied together. Obama's plan will spend even more money, hopefully something will work.
Which goes to prove that the Republican push for deregulation really hasn't worked. I'm sure you'd agree that if proper regulations were in place this crisis would've been averted.
Republicans have held the presidency for 20 of the last 28 years, so to try to lay this problem at the feet of Clinton, who ran an budget surplus, is really stretching it. Fact is, Republican economic policy doesn't work. It has created more debt, bigger government, and less jobs. Statistics don't lie.
Ya more regulation in MBS and derivatives market would have helped a lot. I still believe in free markets if they don't play around with interest rates. I believe Clinton's surplus had to do more with the federal reserves lowering of interest rates than Clinton's policies. The federal reserve is the main culprit, they try to influence the value of markets to much. Now we're stuck in a liquidity trap, and lowering interest rates can't help anymore.
Ya people have suffered, i disagree with iraq war, but remember, the majority of the country was for that war, and they can't pick up and leave the country without infrastructure and proper government. Im not saying Bush is a good president, he is one of the worst, but he does get blamed for everything bad that happens in America.
The majority supported the war based on lies that Bush told. Every hear about the Downing Street Memo? The Iraqwar was a done deal after 9/11. All they had to do was come up with the PR campaign to pump Americans full of fear so they'd support the war.
You give them too much credit for trying to do the right thing. This was deliberate, well-planned incompetence.

Right, I'm sure people who don't like him just have some friendly quarrels, not about anything important. Sure. A photo op and looking like everything is okay -- that's what matters. Yeah.
he worst part is that people will forget how pissed they are at Bush come another 8-10 yrs. Especially in 15 yrs, no one will even care for why they were mad at him.
It's just the trend that always happens; "people hate the prez while he's in office, but when he leaves, everyone just forgets about everything because the media is too busy discussing the newer presidents and what they are doing wrong"
I don't think people are going to forget what this monster has done his country and the world.
I think the troops were pissed about being required to clap for this butthead. When he tried to shoulder his way into their "formation" it was just too much. I wonder if anyone is going to pay Bush to speak after he's finally out of office. Clinton gets $125k to $300k per speech and earned $31 million between 2001 and 2005. Any bets on how much Bush gets?
the worst part is that people will forget how pissed they are at Bush come another 8-10 yrs. Especially in 15 yrs, no one will even care for why they were mad at him.
It's just the trend that always happens; people hate the prez while he's in office, but when he leaves, everyone just forgets about everything because the media is too busy discussing the newer presidents and what they are doing wrong
LOL. He seemed to dumb to realize that lady soldier hated his guts. She DID NOT want him next to her. And after he squeezes in, the dumb idiot STILL tries to talk to her. And she does not respond LOL.
Delighted to see them endeavor to squeeze out the slimball from his "photo op".
I'm former military & the military people I've spoken with lately hate Bush.
He cared more about getting billions to Halliburton & Blackwater than the welfare of our troops & sent soldiers back to Iraq WHO'D ALREADY BEEN DIAGONSED WITH PTSD (I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP)!
After he retires with his millions of ill-gotten bucks to Texas I hope he then retires into the hottest hole in HELL!
I spent some time in Iraq, till I got fraged in the hand n'arm,I'll tell you what,I don't know one Trooper over there who wouldnt' love to give bush a good old blanket party, fuck, count me in!
You're talking about the "Republican Party" of LINCOLN's time. It's not the same as today.
Google David Duke helps son of ex-Klan. You'll see an article how REPUBLICANS ELECTED, by popular vote, a white supremacist to county Republican Executive Committee.
Google Poll Racial views steer. You'll see a poll showing Republicans believe negative bigoted remarks about blacks 10% higher than Dems.
There is a reason most blacks DO NOT vote Republican.
The Klu Klux Klan was founded by Democrats, Democrats were against giving blacks the right to vote as well, where as it was a Republican president that ended slavery and it was also Repubs that fought for black rights right up until modern times.
It was a Republican-controlled Congress that rammed through the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution that, among other things, abolished slavery, guaranteed equal protection and due process and addressed blacks' right to vote.
Vietnam was a Demcorat war, 60,000 American servicemen were killed in that war, that's 56,000 MORE Americans than the current Iraq war, not to mention the Communists took over Vietnam in the end, in Iraq the terrorists are running out of Iraq in droves because they know they can't defeat the United States and the Democracy that 12 million Iraqis voted for.
Yes, a troup formation cannot be broken without penalty.
BUT . . . considering the itruder in question is the putative (and soon-to-be-erstwhile) Commander in Chief, the sour expressions on the soldiers' faces probably reveal their loathing of someone who extended their tours of duty repeatedly.
In 2000 Bush touted that he would bring respectability back to the Oval Office.
The face on the soldier to his left seems to convey the appropriate response to that claim - 'yeah, right!'

They weren't blocking him, they were crushed together and had to move down. Get the story straight. My family was there, we saw it. Freakin libs, you people disgust me.
It doesn't remind me of that at all - lol. It just LOOKS like people dislike Bush. Maybe if they panned out, we'd get the bigger picture. The MSM culls the herd, after all.
Im not going to generalize like neo-cons do and just simply throw everyone into one of two groups but I can certainly say you are an ignorant tool that shouldnt even be given the right to represent our great country. I know a few people that lost their lives in Iraq and if given the chance i would exchange your life for either of theirs at least they appreciated life and respected other peoples opinions.

I did NOT say anthing about giving their lives or serving their country. I pointed out a FACT. Something you people dont care about. If I pointed out the race of the Bush supporters you would still complain. Get a grip, handle the truth. Bush did a great thing in Iraq 45 million people free. Strange thing is that is about the amount of dead babies liberals have voted to kill by electing democrat presidents. Sleep well.
As a soldier, you would know that there's a respect to anyone in uniform. To lump your comrades into 'faggots' and blacks makes me believe you're a shill and never served. You're a disgrace and are full of hate.
Hey Liberalshate, You're kidding right !? There were mostly Hispanics and Whites in those photos and news coverage of The Walmart Black Friday horror. Very few Blacks. You're just angry because we now have an African American President.
thank you, i think you are one a few people who understood that. it's called rank and file, for your non-military folk. a line formation and they line up from tallest to shortest. the thought they were going to get in trouble for breaking ranks.
wow. I really hope you dont have kids to teach that filth you call beliefs to. Horrible how people like you still exist in this country. Go back to the 1800's where I'm sure you believe it was happier times for your people.

Nixon lost the Vietnam War. A Republican President hasn't definitively won any war in over a 100 years and this one is no exception. America knows that only Democratic President can clean up the mess the idiot Bush has made.
hyperdork- Bush gets credit for winning this war, the dems ran away from Vietnam causing 18-20 million deaths. You are 0 for 2 but keep up the hate asshat!
what did we win? (Iraq war) Im still not sure what we won yet...last i saw quite a few Iraqi's met in Baghdad and burned a statue of George Bush....that looked familiar as though it happened before...haha. Look we lowered violence in Iraq that is it. Now if you say losing 5000 american lives to police a country that wants us out of there as a win then we can do business anyday. I need more business deals with people like you and we could both display signs that say "mission accomplished"
You realize that NSA Historian Robert Hanyok came out and said the NSA distorted reports regarding the Gulf of Tonkin incident. Not only that, Johnson himself was unsure that the incident occurred. It's clearly known that US troops had many restrictions on pursuing the Cong in order to 'contain' Communism. War? You make me laugh.
Ha! Nixon ran on a platform of cut and run in '68. Face it, he took a bad situation, made it worse, then surrendered to the vietcong in 73. Yeah, that's the "peace with honor" he was talking about.
Stop getting your history lessons from Druggie Limbaugh, asshat.
We must also struggle outwardly against the zeitgeist of our world, and change it, we must enlighten the world.
Our country and the world is horrid in so many ways that it's ridiculous.
Sitting around talking about good things does nothing but make people feel good about doing nothing, if they are doing good they already feel good and don't need reinforcing, what needs light are all the problems left, so that we may continue to grow as human beings.
wow..man..clam down..dude..u r pretty hardcore uh..listen to urself...what do u want to prove..that u r very angry the very core of human nature..dialogue man...calm down pleaseman
This stupid fuckin thing won't let me respond to pleaseman1...
No human being is simply noble and caring, each is made up of a vastly complicated brain, not born good or bad but formed by the inputs of 5 senses..
We must constantly struggle within ourselves to decide upon good over bad, as you must think of killing someone to know killing is wrong. The picture in your brain of death doesn't make you bad people, it's necessary for good.. I think many ignorant people think they are born bad..
The Bush name has been tied directly to EVERY American war, calamity, and disaster since WWII.
And they have profited greatly. Through Fox News they are grooming the next generation Prescott, Jr. and Jeb to take control of this country. THANKS TO THE INTERNET THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE ON TO YOU (BUSHES) AND NO LONGER DESIRE YOUR TYPE OF "LEADERSHIP"=ATROCITIES.
Yeah, keep putting forth crazy ideas like this. Whack jobs like you give the rest of us comic relief. Try putting down your crack pipe before you post.
You salute the rank...not the man. Shameful. That's why they have marines (and not army) at the White house. You'll resent anyone after enough time in close proximity, but a marine will still do his or her damn job.
If it were anyone less deserving, this would be sad. It's like looking out over the playground at the last kid picked for dodgeball. Poor scrappy little guy.
Course, this is Bush, the guy who betrayed every principle which made the US decent, who turned us into a pariah state that tortures innocents, murders prisoners, and has demolished every freedom we once cherished.
so all I can do is laugh at the idiot and hope he finds his peace in prison someday

Any bets on how much Bush gets?
zensins 3 years ago 2
the worst part is that people will forget how pissed they are at Bush come another 8-10 yrs. Especially in 15 yrs, no one will even care for why they were mad at him.
It's just the trend that always happens; people hate the prez while he's in office, but when he leaves, everyone just forgets about everything because the media is too busy discussing the newer presidents and what they are doing wrong

The war needs to be on terror, and not in Iraq.

Yeah, the piece of sorry slim attempted to strike up a conversation with the 2 soldiers on each side, but they weren't having any of it.
Not only has Bush screwed our soldiers time & again, he's worked to keep benefits low.
And it's going to be a massive task for Barack to try to build the military back up now that so much of the equipment is tattered.

Lincoln's fondest dream was to have blacks shipped back to Africa.
He also made cruel vulgar jokes about blacks.
He was no true friend of the blacks.
He was also one of our worst Presidents in that he, like Bush, had no repect for our Constitution.
DillonX 3 years ago
You're talking about the "Republican Party" of LINCOLN's time. It's not the same as today.
Google David Duke helps son of ex-Klan. You'll see an article how REPUBLICANS ELECTED, by popular vote, a white supremacist to county Republican Executive Committee.
Google Poll Racial views steer. You'll see a poll showing Republicans believe negative bigoted remarks about blacks 10% higher than Dems.
There is a reason most blacks DO NOT vote Republican.
lookingforit66 3 years ago 4
The Klu Klux Klan was founded by Democrats, Democrats were against giving blacks the right to vote as well, where as it was a Republican president that ended slavery and it was also Repubs that fought for black rights right up until modern times.
asliberalastheycome 3 years ago
It was a Republican-controlled Congress that rammed through the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution that, among other things, abolished slavery, guaranteed equal protection and due process and addressed blacks' right to vote.
asliberalastheycome 3 years ago
Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican as well, don't forget that.
asliberalastheycome 3 years ago
democrats were for civil rights in the movement.
Republicans did not end slavery for the sake of it, they did it to keep the country united and industrialized.

With Saddam in Iraq, he kept al Qaeda OUT of the country. They had no power.
When the U.S. destabilized the country, terrorists CAME IN to Iraq, gaining a foothold they didn't have previously.
The U.S.'s OWN INTELLIGENCE REPORTS demonstrate that the actions of the U.S. in Iraq were INCREASING the terrorist threat.
And all this over NON-EXISTENT WMDs...
lookingforit66 3 years ago 2

Sleep well.

Vietnam? Dems fault? LOL

IloveJesusYesId0 3 years ago
