Actually... the anime in general only made it to episode 26. Both Japanese and English ever since it ended quite a few years back. The OVA only came out recently. I'm sure we can expect Funimation to catch up since they're the ones that re-released the complete Air Gear collection not too long ago.

What? You gotta be kidding me? It's pretty well done. In fact to any of the trash done by 4Kids Entertainment, it's pretty tolerable. Then again, I'm not one of them hardcore anti-English dub anime purists. As long as I know what's going on, I could care less what language it's in. I'm watching it for the story. Not something so petty as the voices. I personally find almost no variety in the Japanese voices. I swear it's almost like it's the same 3 or 4 voices in every single show.

And finally...you do realize that quite a few of the voice actors from Fullmetal Alchemist are in this, right? Ikki is voiced by Chris Patton (Greed), Sora is voiced by Vic Mignogna (Ed), and Ringo is voiced by Lucy Christian (Wrath the child). Plus you also got Greg Ayres as Onigiri, Monica Rial as Simca, and Kira Vincent Davis as Emily who are also well known and accomplished voice actors.

I think they should have given Akito a girl VA for the english dub. Agito's voice is fine, much better than the JPN dub. There was no significant voice alteration in the Japanese version and Ikki sounded like he was 26. This is one of the rare occurrences where the english dub is not only good but better than the Japanese dub.

Go back to thinking you're Japanese because you watch Raw or subs.

in Japanese you seriously have no idea how badly acted some of the characters are. especially Ikki. i was cringing for 20 episodes.

in English. each actor made the characters their own and portrayed them well. plus its funny as heck.

Aki/Agi. i dont think either voice - original and eng dub. fits him. his screeching japanese voice is annoying. in english its a bit too deep. BUT both VAs get a thumbs up for capturing his Rage and Innocents.

Very true. I never did pictured Akito's voice to be THAT girly. Still cute though, but I'm not seeing a full image, even for Agito (except when the tone is deeper) Blake Shepard's act as Akito/Agito was something I pictured. Though the tone was indeed deep for Agito's wildness, but he is a "shark." :)
