  • People like this give TaeKwonDo a bad image.

  • Lol.. they both suck! A fight! !! More like an AFV

  • im a tkd fighter. and if he was indeed a wft then he was most likly the sport version of taekwondo. instead of street style which is mudikwon . which would be much more suitable opponent for an mma. now sport taekwondo isnt bad but they dont train specifically for the street fights.

  • @hknclskn1 I'm sure Lyoto Machida would have something to say about you thinking karate is an obselete form of attack and defence in mma.

  • I agree with imreadydoctor, thats what was goin thru my mind as i watched this I have a 2nd dan blackbelt in wtf tkd and what I saw in this fight was fear in the tkd practitioners movements. He wasn't confident and the mma fighter fed off of his unsure fearful movements. This was a terrible display of the deadly art Taekwondo.

  • @manofloins YOU ARE A GENIUSSSSSSSS! lol

  • I have my 1st dan in WTF TKD, and this is exactly what I hate about almost every tkd fighter I see on youtube, they fight as they would in a sparring match, keeping their kicks way too high, and ignoring their hands completely! I'm by no means the best tkd-fighter, but i was fortunate enough to find a good school. These ppl need to adapt, leg-kicks and punches win the striker game, using high kicks as a supplement, not as a base. TKD can be dangerous, but only when it isn't predictable.

  • WHY ON EVERY VIDEO IT WTF ( world taekwondo federation, they use only kicks ) AND NOT ITF ( international taekwondo federation , they use all taekwondo technics ) , HATE IT

  • Bravo MMA... mma greatest, seccond is wrestling, judo ,Jiu Jitsu after is kick boxing and boxing. ( wing tsun, karate, taekwondo, aikido for women and these are absurd )

  • This video is such BS why is it people think that Tkd fighting is like this ? Only in competition do you fight like that because of the rules in a mma fight rules are different and should use all your skills

  • Use taekwondo in reality

  • The kicks were slow, he kept kicking to the head, very weak stances...the Taekwondo guy was obviously not the greatest...or good...or decent for that matter.

A lot of my Taekwondo brethren have developed really bad habits...

  • he was throwing slow kicks thats way he lost

  • did you see the ghost.

  • why even trying this ? this is ridiciolous... TKD has its own rules.. ( You cant hit hit him under the belt or throw in on the ground and more..) and MMA is much stronger couse it has less rules..

  • i take mma kick boxing, muay thai, and jiu jitsu.. mma is a combat karate kung fu,judo, taekowndo, will never beat mma srry

  • like if u muted the video ASA the music started

  • @kimbo1551 Better than what they mostly play on videos like these.

  • dude you can get a black bnelt in tkd in a year thats why no one takes it serious, ive been doing jitz for that long and im still on the first belt, that should tell you a little something, experience is a huge tool,

  • @sharkfinnigan ive been doing taekwondo for a year and im only on the 3rd belt out of the 9 before a first degree black belt.. so i dont know where you get one year from...

  • @sharkfinnigan experience and skill and if after a yr you havent gone up not 1 belt take off that belt and go home after a year if you was training regular and hard you would atleast have gone up a belt unless u have no interest in belts which i doubt coz u mentioned it

  • @19monk90 no dude, at alot of schools it takes a long time going several times a week, there arent a lot of bjj mcdojos, there are some just not as many, sure sometimes i cant go 4 times a week but at least 2 times a week for a year finally got the blue belt working on the first stripe

  • this ain't tkd this is a bullshit...

  • this guy ain't no blackbelt or he's a fake. I'm not saying tkd is better, but a real blackbelt in tkd is way better than this dude.

  • a good taekwondo-er would kick you bad time i guess, this tkd guy doesnt even defence or what? no counter attacks?

  • mma my azz, mma and ufc sucks lmfao! r meant for noobs, starters, beginners, not pros like boxers or muay thai or any other fighting sport. cocky steroid barbarians.

  • @N1ceV1d Seriously? :D

  • @Smstabber Ah yeah ok, I should have made myself more clear, by mostly useless kicks i ment mostly useless for me as I am not fast enough to do such things in real combat yet, sparring yes i somehow find it easier (dont know why). They are useful for those who can use them, thanks for the correction pal :D

  • sinceramente qué ganas de dejar mal parado al TKD que tienen ... no es obvio que tenés que jugar con la distancia y que necesitás estar preparado para cualquier ataque???

  • GOD i travel around the world and look at martal aarts and culters

  • hey i know mma tkd and kung fu and soon lurning ti chi witch controls body movemen if u have brains at all mma will beat the shit outa any other form of fighting becuz of the rules and in karate u are light on your feet one kick and the mma guy wil throw u 2 the ground and summission u and/or ground and pound so u guys but tkd is a great martal art becuz its all about body joints and pressur points im only 12 and i know more then u ignorent fuks

  • @GoRofighterDrake Well said that man! :D I am amazed at ur age and experience, it is people like u that MAs is all about! :D from my experince there are major flaws in a great many MAs so like u have done the best thing to do is to try out many forms :D Love it! hats of to you!

  • if guy who trains tkd for fuckin real, land a kick - you're knocked out.

  • MMA RULES!!!!

kickoxing + jut jitsu = BOOOMM! (muay thai, sambo, judo, savate, boxing, etc)

  • DISLIKE !!!

  • First off... Tkd guy was too slow

Second poor stance and power... Meaning his stance and kicks were too weak.

I am amazed this kid is a red belt...

Depends on the fighter and how well and how much you train. Saying one style is better than another is BS

  • @kingatowning It is clear that TKD is useless from the fact that it is only used in TKD tournaments.

  • @zacktillery thats a pretty baist and bigotted statement. I bet I'd kick your ass in a fight

  • @kingatowning That's not bias at all, thats fact. Do you ever see anyone use TKD thats not in a TKD tournament? No. It is completely useless, and, personally, i dont think it should be taught anymore at all.

  • @zacktillery I've seen several fights when TKD is used. Thats very disrespectful to the people teaching it, it's not useless. no one gives a shit about your opinion, it will continue to be taught and it will be continued for a very long time.

  • @kingatowning the other dude is right, look at the dobok, it has a black collar around the neck which means it is WTF TKD, "the disrespectful form" of the art ;)

  • @Szeba86 do you even know what the "WTF" in WTF TKD stands for? World Taekwondo Federation.

  • @kingatowning yes I knew that, and I also know what they practice and can count up to 10 in korean :P

however I don't know the differences in practice between ITF and WTF, just that these 2 have distinctly different looking doboks... all I know that TKD is a combination between taekkeyon, shotokan karate and aikido move combinations used in self defense techniques...hmm did I miss something?! maybe the trademarked "special techniques".... :P

  • @Szeba86 and the reason why I said WTF TKD is disrespectful is because that federation does not acknowledges Choi Hong Hi as the founder of what they practice!

  • @Szeba86 Not aikido...Hapkido. Some taekwondo dojangs, like my former one, lace hapkido techniques in with it

  • Comment removed

  • @zacktillery NO actually WTF is the form of TKD often used in tournaments, there is ITF style which is very much a reality fighting style. it involves the same sort of fancy (mostly useless kicks in real combat situations) but it also has a great deal emphasis on punches, knife hands and (where i am taught) elbows. Pressure points are also a large part of TKD and also throws and locks are borrowed from other arts. TKD does not have all the answers but please do not disrespect it, it is useful.

  • thats why he is a red belt. all the flashy stuff

  • he doesn't have control of his blance.

  • remind me never to take taekwondo

  • Those Taekwondo guys do not really know about Taekwondo. Not well trained. In Korea, elementary school students can do better than they do.

  • KING CRIMSON!!!

  • u can see that the tkd was only doin light kicks. barely touching. but they all would have made contact and dealt some serious hurt had he wanted to.

but aside from that. yea, tkd guy's useless on the ground.

    lolz

  • there is no sport name MMA ,

  • they both suck

  • @MrLakers661 I guess you must be so much better then

  • 1 week of training of mma under hooks overhooks armbars simpile shit like that stances i beat a 3rd degree black belt in tai kwon do

  • ...It is really funny that guys like you want to show tae kwon do as a useless art fighting with beginners. Why dont you ever challenge some of the korean or international masters or even a REALLY good athlete?Plus that you talk shit in the description of the video?Compare yourself to Fedor Emilinianenco????Rule of martial arts Nr.1=Be humble.

  • @EVEROSFP1 So, an international fighter vs. a regular mixed martial artist? thats fair. Why don't you pair up an international TKD queer against an international MMA fighter, anderson silva, lets say. Do you really think that Anderson Silva would lose? i think not.

  • @kintle182 ...it depends on the rules my friend.MMA matches and WTF TKD sport sparring are sports. Each one with its own rules. If Anderson Silva ever competes in WTF rules with a TKD "queer" would ever win????I think not.But...The only prove of what a real Artist is ,is the street....Where the fights are very short and have absolutely NO rules.

Not to mention that i respect a lot Anderson Silva the rest of mixed martial artists whereas it is clear that you dont...

  • @EVEROSFP1 I don't respect them when they don't work. I respect things that make sense and flow together. TKD is useless, and shouldn't be allowed to even be called a martial art. In the streets? i'm sure you could put some idiot with a knife against silva, on the streets, and silva would laugh and destroy him. Don't doubt the system that does work, when you're just scared that TKD can't protect you.

  • @kintle182 ...there are other styles and surely not MMA that are specialized in knife fighting and generally speaking self defence. And i dont like TKD because i am convinced that is the superior art,blah,blah,blah...

I simply love it as an art,And i will tell you again, did you ever have involved in a fight with a person that you dont

know in the street???Do you know how your emotions and senses work???if not stop talk so easily.

Are you sure that Anderson can beat i.e.a U.S.president bodyguard??

  • @EVEROSFP1 1) knife fighting is for pussies. 2) I know how senses work, because i am a fighter. 3) yes, i believe that anderson could be on one leg and have one arm free and still whoop 2 body guards asses at the same time.

  • @kintle182 ...You can email then Anderson to prove your beliefs...I cant tell you anything else because you know everything.

  • @kintle182 ...Plus1) that a "pussie"can easily give you to eat your intestinals for dinner2)Anderson HAS 1 dan Black Belt in TKD 3)you are 21 y.o.I study Martial arts for 22 years. But I forgot ...You are so clever.

  • @EVEROSFP1 It dosen't matter if they can control me or not, it's a weapon doing the talking, not martial arts, so your point is invalid. Secondly, having a black belt in TKD does nothing, for anyone, because it's useless. Third, i am 21 and i wrestled for 4 years, judo for 2 and have done MMA for about 2 years now. I'd stomp you, kid, quit posting on my youtube. kthx

  • at 0:11 was that a mortal kombat dragon sweep? jk....

  • 3:02 looks like his arm is broken :(

  • people just dont get it all i hear is mma mma mma. mma do's not mean nothing its about the conditioning of the fighter and the mind and spirit of the person but in this case the young gentlemen in the white had really no chance because he was scared he just is not ready and has alot to learn about his self just like the oldeast person one the earth dose

  • tkd fighter is has very very slow kicks

  • Now that's just pure bullying the tkd guy is just skin and bones his techniques are bad and the other guy is much bigger (body mass wise) and doesn't even need skill he can just walk into that thin dude and ram him...

  • @Soora17 Taekwondo is just not nearly as effective as MMA!

  • @DareToBlink Depends on how you use it but that's not an issue in this fight, the skinny guy is just too unskilled and disadvantaged. This fight wasn't meant to be fair anyway those MMA guys just tried to use the TKD guy to promote themselves or boost self-confidence -_-"

  • maybe (not racist) if thr tkd guy was a professional asian

  • that tkd guy is a disgrace to all tkd students

  • Anderson Silva is a black belt in TKD.

  • not the best choise of kicking combos from tkd guy

.MMA guy in my oppinion has te advantage to be more freestyle and respond as it comes. TKD limited to TKD

  • the tkd .. he seems lost like not knowing when to strike.... but also the mma fighter is bigger so he has advantage

  • any 2nd degree or above in our Villaris dojo would eat up either of these guys

  • this was more aimed for the MMA guy to win and the TKD was pretty low skilled...

which i reckon was unfair lol...

  • lol negro!

  • I don't even know how to describe my dissapointment with TKD

  • The TKD guy has no intention with what he is doing. The MMA guy is a douche who uses pathetic low kicks. They are both shit.

  • Typical taekwondo practitioner. No guard whatsoever and fires of lots and lots of spectacular kicks which he don´t know how to use properly. No wonder he gets his ass kicked.

  • this is a sissy, this is a fucking chickenshit, this dishonoring the name of TKD, this shit is like a black belt? Here in Brazil only a black belt who does not deserve this crap idiot take the asshole motherfucker oo ================= D

  • I don´t get it in this vid...this guy takes on close combat everytime with the tkd guy. Doing fully his thing, while the tkd guy has many open chances just to land several kicks to the head . No instead he´s just messing around, sparring. No wonder he´s going down all the time..

  • What the hell am I watching? The TKD guy looks like a cancer patient.

  • Learn the Art that matches your character. Stick with one or combine, that is up to the practitioner. ^_^ i like the video but i was looking for a skilled taekwondo. the Taekwondo guy here is low skilled.

  • learn boxing skills & ju-jutsu and you will always be undefeated :):) but it's a whole different ball game if a weapon is involved.

  • @MORPHEUSou812 Tank-Kwon-Do?

  • learn boxing skills & ju-jutsu and you will always be undefeated :):)

  • you can tell the TKD guy has no FULL CONTACT experience. big weight class difference too. either way im sure the kid learned a lesson. one fighting isnt good enough and allways have some type of full contact training. or else you'll never know what to do in a fight or match.

  • i like the teakwondo guy dosnt get submited yet just gets taken down, and taps out... this is why i always tell my mma team mates that you can learn any mix martial arts, just as long you have a ground plan. thats where jiu jitsu comes in play.

  • one of the reasons u dnt see traditional martial arts winning that much anymore is because of 3 main factors one is that we dont t train as hard as we should second we have become so mainstream and we hear about these underground arts so we lose our confidence when we fight this is because people tend to think if its normal that means it doesnt work or it sucks like mainstream rap vs underground the third reason is that many ma have been adapted for sitations that they arent meant for like tkd

  • @HannibalBarca5 and its because theres no art better than the other its all on jow much hability the fighter haves and how hard they train, conditioning its like 70% technique its like 30%.

  • @fitnessboyPR i agree

  • krav maga is nice to but more for self defense

  • kung fu forever!!!

  • @yunamiharuno You shut up Taekwondo Mcdojo fan boy.

  • taekwondo sucks lol

  • im getting tired of videos of some random person who is often of very low skill, represent an entire martial art, anybody who knows true tae kwon do, knows that this video doesnt show it. seriously this fight even looks fake, the tae kwon do guy never even really trys to land a kick. all this aside from the guy in black having at least 60 pounds on the other guy

  • @HDtenor1 taekwondo sucks man. find the best taewondo master and join them in UFC, until then taekwondo sucks for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @thescheminggenius heard of Anthony Pettis? Guess TKD dont sucks

  • @ursang109 Anthony who? lol Taekwondo sucks!

  • @thescheminggenius ur a fag

  • @jbirchem hahaha i love it when mcdojo taekwondo fan boys resort to name calling because they don't have any argument to prove their point.

  • @thescheminggenius Sigh. Trolls these days.

  • @ursang109 That's it Taekwondo fan boys? Can't do or say anything right? Because you guys know exactly what I'm talking about and you got no argument that will win. I'll tell you what just to prove your seemingly ever increasing mass mcdojos sucks, I'll fight 100 taewondo blackbelt in 2 hours and I'll guarantee you I'll knock them all out. Who wants to bet?

Okay line up all those 7 year old black belts, I know you guys got thousands of them everywhere.

  • @thescheminggenius I am a cross trainer, but I do admit I lean towards TKD. However, disgracing and mockery of a martial art is intolerable. And I know plenty of black belts that are seven years old, but a bunch of other black belts that would kick anyones ass. I do not want to argue further. Please think before you post random shit on the internet.

  • @ursang109 I never post random shit. I do exactly know what I'm talking about. You taekwondo fanboys did this to your self. Wake up, what I'm saying is not meant to shame you but you got to admit and wake up that nowadays the current state of Taekwondo sucks - thus you can see the performance of the fighter on the video.

Regulate Mcdojos, test your craft in the street and for Christ's sakes stop selling belts!

  • @thescheminggenius It's futile to explain how fucking ignorant you are. It's simple. It's the martial artist not the art!

  • @ursang109 On the contrary, Taekwondo is doomed because of people like you. I've presented you facts the readers will read our comments - it's not about you or me. The readers will read our exchanges and they will judge us. I've gave facts and you guys got nothing but insult. Taekwondo got nothing.

Thus, Taekwondo is doomed to be a McDojo forever.

  • @thescheminggenius facts? facts? where the fuck are you getting these facts? Sources, experiences, anything at all? Please enlighten me.

  • @ursang109 Go to any Taekwondo School near your area and count the black belts. How many of them are below 15 years old? Open your eyes.

  • @ursang109 And with regards, to experiences I'm a Filipino Kali/Arnis/Escrima practitioner. I lived in one of the most dangerous streets in the Philippines. I stared death not less than two times with the opponent weilding bladed weapons. Of course, this is just all talk, I am in no position to validate this claim but we could work something out.

Maybe, you could prove Taekwondo's effectivity by going in the ring with me. No Rules. Full contact. What say you?

  • @ursang109 Here you go taken from a Taekwondo forum:

I do WTF TKD and it took me 9 years to get my 1st Dan in Singapore. I've seen people who are very good do it in 4-5 years. Are you serious that you can get one in just 6 months?

Sadly, this is sometimes possible, but it's not really a representation of the person's skill, but rather the depth of his wallet.

    Location: Cheltenham, USA

  • Wow the TKD guy looked like he was throwing some Capoeira moves or something

  • TKD is proven shit dont work learn something proven

  • esse taewkuondista e muito fraco e leso

assim claro qo vera o cara ganha se fosse n o vera mesmo ele nun ganhava

so de olhar p ele agente ve que ele e fraco lento e pesado

    da p ganhar na manha

  • is not d fucking stile is the fucking fighter

  • que clase de mal taekwondista haria eso?!

  • the taekwondo guy is gud, but not in combat.you can easily tell he's just a novice fighter

  • 2:05 was absolutely beautiful. Perfect timing, kicked his legs right out of him when he lunged in for a kick

  • deja en vergueza al taekwondo el cinturon rojo. :-(

  • taekwondo very very sucks!!!

  • @18spk it's just that this guy does not know how to distance himself from the opponent when he kicks lol you should not judge other martial arts if you are not a "master" or "grand-master" who has enough martial awareness and skills to partly judge. NO ONE can say "____ is not a good martial art" everything has its pros and cons.

  • that sanda skills not mma

Jeśli chodzi o faceta od taekwondo to porażka -_-

  • pfff el tkd wtf no sirve para nada

  • True you gotta have respect for every martial art. But you just can't set up a match between a taekwondo practioner and a freestyle fighter or kickboxer. Even if the taekwondoka has his black belt or years of experience, it's just not based on taking an agressive skilled boxer/freestyle fighter out in my opinion. But...you gotta love those athletic skills and kicks of those guys and girls. Man that's athleticism!

  • They fight with mma rules, so the TKD fighter dont know what to do

  • keeps turning his back to the mma fighter when he kicks, poor,

  • puras pendejadas

  • the poor tkd kid didn't know what to do. The mma fighters wasn't all that impressive either, at least he made tkd look bad.

  • and THIS is why we shouldn't fear the Koreans!!!

  • Really, who care which one is better? They were attempting to see which system worked better ...and I guess they found out. The Taekwondo boy needs to practice against more variety of attacks, which I am sure he found out. He also needs to learn how to use his hands which he didn't do at all. He is flexible and coordinated, now he needs coaching.

  • the taekwondo guy is very low skilled

  • @ihrseidlooser the idiot kicks an empty space lol

  • @ihrseidlooser

So is the mma guy, don't start making excuses

  • @ihrseidlooser failed with that name :)

  • @ihrseidlooser To be anything but low skilled in TKD you have to be INCREDIBLY high skilled, because it's percentages of success on each strike is pathetic. It's definitely good to work TKD kicks but you will get beaten by someone that knows how to fight

  • @ihrseidlooser No, it's just that the MMA guy is very high skilled.

  • the douche bags that created "the world taekwondo federation" ruined taekwondo

  • IMO this shows how ineffective TKD is in a real fight and I did TKD for about 3 years and have a 3rd Kyu grade red belt with one black stripe. People say the TKD guy here is unskilled and that it´s about the fighter, not the style, but the MMA guy doesn´t look all that skilled either. He should have easily postured up and passed the guard of the TKD guy for one thing.

  • This was a complete waste of three minutes and forty-one seconds. Both fighters sucked.

  • @RolandStGermain theyre better than you faggot

  • @victorhugomuzi You're like seven years old. You need to respect your elders. How would you like for me to tell your your mommy and daddy what kind of language that you are using?

  • @RolandStGermain hah, stop living your little fantasy world and wake up dude.

  • @victorhugomuzi I'm done talking to you. You are unable to engage in anything more than a juvenile conversation.

  • @RolandStGermain riiiirhgt seirously man, SHUT THE FUCK UP :)

  • wow...the tkd guy looks like he's never been in a real sparring match. Poor guy. Thinking his opponent would hold back like his comrades do when they're holding kicking targets. That's why martial arts are frowned upon. Instructors not teaching their pupils how to "really" defend themselves and have them do real human contact and let them get kicked and punched at a bit so that they learn to resist pain and to counteract in real time.

  • @kallosue

This guy is a red belt un experienced in the pain of tae kwon do and i have to say very very amatuer

i dont think the tae kwon do guy was as elite as the MMA guy but just so you know and as you probably already do know its not the martial art its the martial artist...

but i have to say i think they could toughen some of our peeps at are club cause they are right pussys they dont even bring there sparring kit however i go to other sessions which gets my strength up!

  • @Rebelegend lawl thats what every tkd person says. now now, dont get offended! i practiced tkd for 10years in korea. i know what its all like xD but i must say..i believe there is no single best style out there. BUT, however i do believe there are certain styles that will be superior than others. ofc there is never a 100% but there are styles that will have a higher chance that the practitioner of that style will likely beat another. and yes they r both idiots actually.

  • Comment removed

  • the tkd in this video has a weak center of balance and lacks fury and intensity.

  • Wake up, stop talking about quality or anything else, it's in marocco, end of the story lol.

  • that tkd guy really sucks

  • its not the student but the master that trully dost know how to teach proper taekwondo

  • yep, first of all it is weird to see people doing "Tae Kwon Do", and yet, have their hands low. when I did TKD, we were taught to always have our hands up, in a boxer's stance. I didn't know about WTF vs ITF at the time, but I would say we were probably ITF. Personally I was never good at acrobatic type kicks, I just used front, side, and roundhouse, but I have seen people kick a lot faster than this guy.

  • @neutrino78x thank you, this guy puts TKD to shame. his hands are down the hole time, his movement is very bad, and you should only spin kick as a counter he makes way too many openings. his belt dose not reflect his skills

  • what a garbage fight, the taekwando guy probably never had a real fight in his life if he had adapted to this mma then he would have done a lot better but hes following the ruled of standard taekwando, hes not very good either but then again neither is the other guy

  • I respect all martial arts but i think i a fight mma is much better. In fact a black belt in tkd (like this guys) haven´t any chance with a mma fighter

  • This TKD guy here is a rookie. No offense, but he is insecure, he's afraid of the mma guy (who doesn't even hurt him), he's slow, it's obvious he doesn't have experiences. We don't know how this mma guy would do against a good TKD kicker. There're 2 different TKD-s ITF,and WTF this one here is a WTF figher (red belt BTW).ITF is the same as kickbox, just there are powerbraking too. In streets with the same experiences mma is more usefull then any kind of TKD. But you can't compare two martial arts

  • tkd fighter should have his guard up and look for openings instead of attacking the much bigger and stronger mma fighter. my personal opinion!

  • brutal...bigger vs small...ground game vs none

  • Try to fight without gloves and u will see how much fights end on the ground. : )
