i currently have an o/r h-pipe with flowmaster original 40's on my gt, but it's getting old. i was thinking of switching to an o/r x-pipe, but i want mine to sound like this!!!

Wow, i have a 2001 GT, with an H-Pipe, h sounds so much better. X gives more top end power but the raspyness of the x is annoying.Nice car tho other then that

That sounds awesome man I have the Flows 40 series on my car and I want to get rid of that stock H pipe, I think Im going to go with the BBK but I might buy the catted version, would it sound the same or would it be different? Thanks if anyone can answer this for me!

@Blue03GT Yeah id go with the cattless and get some MIL eleminators. the catted version still sounds good but my buddy has a cobra with almost 500 horses and mine is ten times as loud and he has a borla catted x. But your low end will be alot better with the x-pipe its nice just wait till you see the stock h its ridiculous!!!! 4 catts

Oh ya I know the stock H pipe has 4 on there and its reall restrictive. right now im trying to figure out what to do to my car so far all I have done is a BBK CAI and FRPP 3.73 Gears. I was thinkin about lowering it next but an x pipe sounds so nice!

I have the same stang and it was made in CA and it came with 6 catts!!! so restrictive. I personally like the catted X pipe because the non catted is too raspy sounded. just my 2 cents

That was the only thing on the car when i got it so im not sure I put everything else so i know all that. It sounded ok before the x-pipe but that made it sound sweet!

Yeah the o2 holes are there but mine still throws a code for them. I' going to get the cap offs for the o2 sensors it like sends the signal or something they are cheap too!!!

I sat down and looked and listened on youtube for like a month and when i heard the BBK with the Flowmaster i was sold thats why I put this Vid. up!!! But UPR sounds pretty raspy as well those where the 2 I was choosing from. My buddy has a 04' Cobra with the borla x and my car is 2 times louder even though his is 2 times faster lol!!

Scratch that I think the Pypes was raspier than upr. there is a video with 2 stangs comparing type in pypes upr flowmaster and its the one with 2 white stangs
