I think labeling this piece "sad" doesn't do it justice. To me, combined with the scene of Mufasa explaining to Simba the way of the world, it conveys the complete and utter amazement of life, and the breath-taking brilliance of existence. I consider myself a film score aficionado, and I can say with confidence that this is one of the greatest and most moving scores ever written

Las canciones sencillas como esta de El rey león, las aprendo de oido. Es mucho mas rapido y entretenido que hacerlo mirando tutoriales.

Para las mas complejas suelo buscar el archivo midi y reproducirlo con algun programa como synthesia, asi veo las notas que he de ir tocando.

De todos modos, aprender solfeo es algo que tengo en mente asi que voy a ir transcribiendo partituras. Aunque ahora pueda ir algo lenta y sea aburrido, es algo que con el tiempo agradecere.

can i just say based on your piano song choices, we'd be best friends hahaha.

i play literally the SAME songs on my keyboard; silent hill songs, zelda medleys, honour him from gladiator, some star wars stuff (the slower, more emotional stuff like across the stars and the binary sunset theme), utada hikaru's simple and clean, but a slowed down version with more strings and stuff.
