How did you know exactly where to put the rails on the drawer? You didn't show how you did that did you? That seems like an important step? And I just changed one drawer rail in my kitchen and it took all day! Different cabinet design inside made it lots more difficult.
I did show the positioning. I used the white spacer which is 1cm thick on both side. this puts the new rail 1cm above the old rail, thats good positioning. I used the level gauge too to confirm that both sides are leveled. Watch it again, you will see. All the steps are important.
It took me about 4 hours to do all the 9 rails in my kitchen alone without many tools.
Thank you for showing, You are right about the bull chit. They'll tell you anything to get your money cause they assume you have no smarts about the situation. Good for you for prooving them wrong.
I just completed changing rest of the 8 drawers rails. Took me almost 2 hrs for all the 8 drawers. All appear to be for now and my wife is happy with it. I am sure now that replacing drawer rails are not all that difficult.
It is important that you secure the new rail to the drawer before removing the old rails. feel free to comment if you have better methods..

The furniture hardware shops will have them.
I got mine from woodlands center, there is a Buy & Fix shop that has many DIY stuff.
If you change rails, do let me know how it works out for you.
Just make sure you carbonates are made with hard wood and not compressed chip boards.
