  • spot on!

  • Thanks for the great videos. I have a question on painting realistic bone. Some of the vidoes out there the skulls look very real. Is the stone techniques similar to doing bone? If not do you know how?

  • @jdickenson06 You can use this technique for a bone texture yeah. Maybe a bit more subtle though so use a cream/off white base then a white and light brown or something like that.

  • xD 0:01 look at the left that made me laugh alittle

  • You got some nice vids. Hope i will get as good as you one day. How long have you been airbrushing? Got some tips for some exercices for a beginner?

  • YES I WOULD SAY JAPAN MAKE'S THE BEST AIRBRUSH'S NOT CAUSE THERE'S A EARTH QUAKE OR ANY THING MAYBE WE CAN USE THEM TO PUMP THE WATER OUT HA BUT YA THEY MAKE A MEAN AIRBRUSH VERY USER FRIENDLY

  • When your painting we cant really see,you hand is blocking the view ,,, could you do a shot from the side so we can see better ,,,,,AWESOME video Svee ..keep um coming XD

  • Awesome stuff

    Robin :o)

  • Is there some effect to make it look like a large black man??

  • @verber001 LOL Hail Verber! ;)

  • so the WICKED COLORS is good to have

  • @hefty88 wicked colors are really cool . good for inside painting not in a booth like he does . lots of people use it . lots of people use actual automotive base clear . this is water based . but it still works good . i use the transparent from createx which is who makes wicked colors . woorks good for flames and smoke looks .

  • @KTCustomz i use createx it fades away in the sun after clear coat it so wood wicked fade away in the sun

  • @hefty88 Really? What createx do you use mate? Is it the stuff meant for canvas/bristol board/t-shirt type stuff? I have very little exp with Wicked but loads of my airbrushing friends are using it on all sorts of things so i assume it holds up fine under exposure to UV.

In fact, i just went and found out, according to the Wicked website it holds up fine under long exposure to UV so it wont fade. Go have a look at all the W's (dot) createxcolors (dot) com and click on the "Wicked colours" link.

  • @svee cool man am going to buy me some wicked color paint for my mailbox project and yeah createx did fade away on me i paint my friends mailboxes like 3 week ago

  • @hefty88 Yep the Wicked colours are good. I havent used them much at all and ive only used the black and white but a lot of my airbrushing friends are loving the stuff. Its great for fine detail apparently.

  • Airbrushing snake skin.. check out Ed Hubbs.

  • @jgraham1971 if you look really really close at ed hubbs snake skin .. it could use a diff. technique . it looks cool but it doesnt look exactly like snake skin ..

  • @KTCustomz I agree. I would still use a base of black and then cover it with mesh. Snake skin has so many color patterns right down to a pattern on each scale. Best of luck to you.

  • @jgraham1971 Yep Ed's vids are awesome and he's a top bloke too :) Trouble with snake skin is there are so many different colours/patterns it would be very time consuming to do a realistic job. The quickest way is with the mesh which is why a lot of people use it. Customers wont pay for you to sit there for days painting each scale one by one. My vid is going to take a slightly different take on it than Ed's vids but im also going to include some great ref material. I own a few snakes myself :)

  • awesome!

i saw a video on here about getting a marble effect using cling film and just scrunching it on top of wet paint on the piece.

  • @heminder Yep, you get a better effect if you use proper marbelizer paint but you can pretty much use any metallic. I will be doing a vid to cover this effect soon ;)

  • Where did you get the steinbeck airbrush one because i need a thin one haha and also how much, am i correct if i said you got it off ebay? cheers :~)

  • @4fukssake I got it from the web mate. I cant post a link on here (You Tube dont let you) but go to Google and search for "Graphics Direct". Thats where i got it from. It was about £160 ish if i remember rightly.

  • do shadows work for this?

  • Hello!
