There was a jazz band who used to play around Surrey area jazz clubs called 'The High Curley Stompers' has anyone heard what happened to them and if they made any recordings?
My dear old Mum loved this record - I can see her now dancing round the kitchen and singing to it.Ithink the words began "Rufus had a head like big sledgehammer" or so Mum's version did!!
Many years ago I presented a request show in radio. This was the theme tune. I have been trying to find it for old time's sake for years....Thank you so much for bringing back the memories.
I was lucky to see Chris,Monty et al in 1957.They have stayed with me all these years.Great memory now on my Ipod.Thankyou.
