this speaks to me so much...I remember once going to sleep in the afternoon thinking wo this is so decadent this is not what I should be doing this is so lazy and yet when my new husband said to me "go to sleep darling if you feel tired"....it was such a relief to be with a man who had none of the values which I had been subject to all my life. I cant tell you how wonderful it was to "just let go".

@rudra981 Abraham is talking about oars, oars that you use to paddle or row a boat with. In this context, they are speaking about not trying emphatically to "buck" the current of Well Being by rowing against it. If you let go of the oars, you will flow with Well Being.

Letting you know whether you are a match to the bigger, wiser, non physical part of you. Some people like to call it God, or higher self, or intuition, karma, etc. whatever name you give it, it tells you whether you are a match(because it feels better relief or love) or not (like fear, hate) to who you really are. Emotions are the answer to the entire world, relief is what everyone wants.
