I agree with Device. This conversation - alone - doesn't definitively answer whether or not Tony gets whacked, at that moment, along with the audience. It does apply, however to one indisputable fact: the AUDIENCE gets whacked and never sees/hears it coming. Just as the coin-operated binoculars Tony looks through in his "Funhouse" dream shuts down abruptly when the allotted time is up, so too does the show. BANG! Without warning, smash cut to white, silent death.
Umm, no he does correct him...Belzer states that people were coming up with theories and Chase cuts him off and states that the scene in question was part of the ending...that's called a correction, just saying.

I agree Nottellingyou14. I can't see how anyone can listen to this and NOT think Tony was killed. Denial is powerful thing. RIP Tony.
