  • This Meguiar is a shit product... you should try the best in the world: DryShine

last forever, you should take a look at their website...

    good luck! (dryshinetreatments. k o m)

  • nice colour blue

  • that tire is almost as big as you crouching...what size rims r those?

  • @jklslvch theyre the stock 20's that come on the X5 4.8is... my son is kinda short though lol

  • why u wash a new tire i dont see a difrent man

afther u finish but try it afther 4 5 months lets see if u can clean ur rims that easy

    i dont think so

  • @marra001 the tire and wheel are not new. they've been maintained on a regular basis since this vehicle was new. that said, i can and have cleaned/restored rims with 4 or more months of road grime, brake dust, grease, asphalt, etc on them and/or years of neglect and you're right, they're not as easy to clean. what's your point?

  • Here is an excellent tip for everyone - Put any Tire Shine on a little heavy "Right before you go to bed". After sitting for 8 hours it will "look" "WET" and "Last" a lot longer. If you drive an hour after you apply the shine the wind will literally blow the shine off. TRY IT! I have a tip for perfectly clear windows too. So clear I hit my head thinking the window was open.

  • Nice. But i might as well jump!

  • You should wear some nitrile gloves that shit will fuck your hands up.

  • @agenthelios1 i used to work in the gas and oil industry... soap, degreaser and tire shine on my hands are probably the least of my worries. thanks for your concern though :o)

  • @ALITL8 By the way nic car, is that an X5 or X3?

  • @agenthelios1 thanks, i'll let the owner know you like it! LOL it's the X5 4.6is and yes, it's pretty sweet inside and out ;o)

  • Little known to the consumer are the detrimental effects of silicone on tires and trim. Nearly all products currently available as "tire dressings" and

"protectants" contain silicone. While these products do briefly enhance appearance, they also degenerate and damage the surfaces to which they are applied. They then quickly wash off into your local water systems. Moreover, many tire manufacturers' warranty plans will not cover dry rot damage if evidence of silicone usage is found.

  • @renewprotectvideo thanks for the info. i'd be more concerned with the water supply. most consumers dont keep tires on their vehicles long enough to see any noticeable degradation of a tire from the use of silicone based dressing. any suggestions on an environmentally friendly/safe tire dressing?

  • @renewprotectvideo There is no evidence that silicone and solvent based tire shines negatively impact rubber over time. I prefer water-based tire dressing, but I don't hesitate to use a silicone tire dressing as long as it's a quality product. Silicone tire shines don't wash off into local water systems, either. I don't know where you came up with these ridiculous statements.

  • If I put that on my wife's face will it make it look as good as those tires?

  • I like the Meguiars Hot Shine Trigger Spray also. Not too shiny and is very durable. Do you use any dressing in the wheel wells? Meguiars Hyper-Dressing a 2:1 (can dilute up to 4:1) does a great job on clean wheel wells. I also use the same Eagle One Tire Swipes.

  • Good job. What kindof applicator did u use?

And i like your choice in music :)

  • @stunner5000pt it's the Eagle One tire swipe... they work great, last long enough and the price is right at under $3 a pair.

  • @stunner5000pt hows he a redneck he drives a bmw

  • @lockerzkrazy im southern and i dont drive a BMW... one of my clients drives this BMW X5. i drive a 97' Ford Mustang with a 2000 motor, bolt ons, cams and exhaust when im not working ;o)

  • @ALITL8 thats better lol

  • fucking rednecks

  • @fixierider1234 fuckin' trolls ;o)

  • @fixierider1234 This 'redneck' is also driving a nicer car than you will ever get in your life.

  • how much does it cost at like wallmart or like target?

  • gee where should i use tire shine??? hmmm.....

    stay redneck bud

  • @crombie92 lol, sad thing is, a lot of so-called detailers spray it in the wheel wells in an attempt to hide the dirt they didnt remove. just did two LARGE vehicles the other day that supposedly had been cared for by another detailer and owned by people who claimed they were "picky"... should have seen their faces when we got finished ;o)

  • @ALITL8 haha hey man you rock. any recommendation for the longest lasting wet shine? i alway thought gel was the way to go for that, what do ya think?

  • @crombie92 thanks man! i've never really tried the gels. i've been using Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray for several years... our pickiest clients seem to like it and i'm more than happy with it's performance and durability.

  • @demianslab

It doesn't sling as much as, but your right, you'll end up scrubbing gooey dirt off your tires later.

  • nothing ever seems to beat soap and water and good elbow grease

  • i wasnt too impressed with megs hot shine spray, im about to try auto glym tyre dressing and have heard it does a more professional job and looks more sheen like than the greasy overly shiny look of hot shine . will be posting a video of my next project soon !

  • @RyanLangz look forward to it... we're still using hot shine. let me know how the glym works out.

  • Jump !

  • he's using the sponge incorrectly. It's curved in one direction only so as to nicely fit the curve of the side wall yet he is holding it in exactly the wrong orientation. Turn it 90 degrees, brains.

  • Best invention evar

  • hahahaha i cracked up when you acted like you were about to spray on more hahaha

  • x5 4.8i, beautiful

  • 4.8 nice

  • where you buy the brush from cause i wanna try and use the gel now instead f the spraying

  • It's an Eagle One Tire Shine Applicator. Your local auto parts store should have plenty of them. They are sold for around $2.50 for a pair of two (only available for purchase in pairs of two).

  • me 2 i need to know

  • well i just got my brush at auto zone so i believe you will find one 2

  • looks like the scratch pad side of a cheap dollar store spunge to me.

  • Show us the car too!

  • Nice not to wet not to dry perfect.

  • armor all extreme shine tire gel works the best.

  • it works well but it doesnt stay for very long. with my car it stays for about a week

  • "it doesnt stay for very long"

lol in my line of work thats called job security :o)

  • according to Van Halen, you were supposed to "jump"

  • haha, guys accent is awesome but he seems to be doing a good job. I like to spray the tire shine on the pad only so it doesnt get on the rim at all.

Pad doesnt have to be used but it makes it alot easier. I picked some up at advance auto parts.

  • this is my favorite part of washing the car its soooo shiny :)

  • do i have to use that kind of brush? would a terry work fine too?
