@janusdios En realidad el nombre viene de "Majin" que significa "Dios Demonio", el sufijo "Ger" es para maquinas, asi que literalmente es "Maquina Demonio/Dios Demonio" Aunque se escriba "Mazinger Z" se pronuncia "Majinga Zetto".

Cuando El profesor Juuzo Kabuto le entrega a su nieto, Koji, a mazinger le dice que el puede ser "un dios o un demonio" usando a Mazinger, por lo mismo de la dualidad del nombre que un "Majin" es un dios y un demonio a la vez.

well the original Transformers cartoon from the 1980's, the animation for the show was done in Japan, but it was done for an American audience, like it was never dubbed for American audiences, it was dubbed for Japanese audiences first, I believe it was Toei Animation. I believe the entire transformers tranfranchise, it's a collaberation between American and Japan right? the designs for the characters are Japanese, but the storyline is American right?

@B4ULoveShine Probably....but they did have a dubbing company called Cloverway (which produced the Sailor Moon R, S, and SuperS movie dus as well asthe S and SuperS Tv series), but disbanded soon after. The Toei Animation office in America may only be for animation production only and not for dubbing exsisting projects, but who knows they might decide to open a new dubbing department.

Gotta make the most out of tragedies, and pain shapes us all.

Great tragedy often breeds great art as well, and though this is rather campy, it nevertheless was a stepping stone in the giant robot genre which in itself can be very moving or very funny, pending on the series, and all around creative (or cliche).

Just allow the absurd to be, and just get drawn to it without thinking too much but thinking of the message instead and the pure entertainment shines through.
