@FredsukzBalls so let´s get this straight. you think a 1300kg light car (barely 200kg heavier than a civic) with a V8 near the rear axle developing 600+hp is slow ? no matter wether it´s got a manual or an automatic transmission - THIS THING WILL OUTLAUNCH ALL WHEEL DRIVEN CARS AND OUTACCELERATE SUPERBIKES. if you think that´s slow you´ve some serious issues or you´re just plain jealous.
@vfIskullangel how´s that when it´s got like 60% of its total weight on the rear axle (with a V8 like this) ? basically it´s got even more of the total weight on the rear axle than a Koenigsegg CCR (which is able to put 800+hp to the ground @ 1100kg @ 55% on the rear axle). so why shouldn´t this thing be able to put 200hp less to the ground @ 200 more kg weight @ more weight on the rear axle ? doesn´t make too much sense to me
@3O2MuStAnG Theres not a good enough tranny to run a V8. A G6 or even a Toronado transaxle is not good enough. Then its all about power to weight which on average a V8 gains more weight on a Fiero like 300lbs or more depending if you go big block or small block not including all the chassis modifications needed which adds more weight.
@vfIskullangel I mean yeaaaah the short wheelbase isn´t really a pro and neither is the fiero´s thin body which doesn´t allow to put some proper tires on it (let alone 340mm tires which koenigseggs are equipped with). the suspension however can be modified easily and with a built automatic it will easier hook up than those manual cars as well. and at the end it´s still got those +5% on the rear axle which might help on the traction as well especially since it develops less power at more weight
where are the updates? You said this thing would be ready to race for fierorama in sept.
Sept of 09!! WTF dude seriously. This car is a joke.

@3O2MuStAnG If you can't put the power down it won't matter whats under the hood which is the biggest problem with these Fieros with V8s in em.
