I have to agree that the song should be called "I needed you". It just sounds to me that the singer needs the other person way more than the other person needs them.I sang this song on a cruise ship talent show (Sun Princess) a few summers ago. After the song started, about 6 couples got up and started slow dancing,even a male gay couple, by the time the song was over there were at least 20 couples in the aisles dancing. this song always has that effect on people. It was a very touching moment.
