  • Deer stomp feet for multiple reasons. Try to get something to move is one. To leave a small warning scent on the ground, they have glands in their feet. They stomp feet to also alert other deer very close to them to pay attention. This has happened to me many times in my tree stand. One sees you, stomps her feet and the rest look.

  • Yap your right son see i have hunted for 35 years deer moose duck partrige wolf bear and yap ive seen them do this time and time again on a hunt. See the green forest behind her she had two fauns with her not even 1 month old.these are hand feed deer i have at the cottage she is still there when we come up fpr the weekends she is gettiing old but she still give nice babys every year. sorry if i ofended you lad but i have seen hes 1000`s of times her name is maggie !!!!!!!!!!!!!
