  • who is joe alexander that got picked 8th??

  • not a great athlete? what are you kidding me?

  • go kings next season playoffs there still young thats why he didnt make the playoffs but next season for sure

  • the kings could become the next thunder, they're actually getting picks right, hawes, thompson, evans, casspi, you know you drafted right if you can imagine that guy on your championship team 3-4-5 years down the line, and you can imagine those 4 on a championship team

  • bitches? I dont know nothing about basketball? smh Lakers r gonna win this year anyway...while you stay home and hating on them & I'll send you an invite & to the parade.

  • Kings: Where missing 14 free throws in game 7 of the2002 WCF happens. haha

  • @lilze96 Lakers: Where getting 27 free throws in the 4th quarter happens in game 6 of the WCF happens. haha

  • @tehstylez LOL Kings: Where Chris Webber choking in the clutch happens.

  • @lilze96 as a college player you mean? I'm not even a Kings fan, just checking out a Thompson video because I heard he could be traded. That WCF series in 2002 was rigged and you shouldn't brag about that AT ALL as a Lakers fan. That series was given to you.

  • @lilze96

Kings won a championship in 1951 idiot.

  • STFU Chump I know they won a championship in '51 & it wasn't in SacTown it was in Rochester, NY where they went by the name Royals. I'm talking about Sac Kings...you guys are soft.

  • @lilze96

Don't tell me what to do bitch.

Well then the Minneapolas Lakers championships shouldn't count either since they were in another city. Ha fucking dumbass. So that way you guys are still trailing the Celtics. A team thats the definition of tough.

  • @coldlynx please dont tell me ur a kings fan...I hate when u guys brag about other teams success while you guys dont have your own lol. but you comparing apples & oranges. Kings putting up a championship banner for '51 Royals is like The Cleveland Browns putting up a Super Bowl banner for the 2001 Ravens in Browns Stadium. nah man definition of tough is Kobe hitting the game winner against the Kings on 1/1/10. lol

  • @lilze96

Nothing tough about that. I like to see it happen in the playoffs where it actually matters HAHAHAHA. Right thats where the Celtics whip you bitches like nothing. No not a kings fan. Just hate douchebags that talk shit and know nothing about basketball.

  • @coldlynx Lakers 2010 champs! LMAO you mad!

  • @lilze96

Lakers: where bandwagons and fake fans happen. at least we have real fans. anybody can root for a good team.

  • What to be a real fan you have to cheer for a losing team? Come on now...ppl started riding the Kings bandwagon when they made to the playoffs.

  • JT is a beast

  • Great catch by the kings

  • i,m a kings fan, i,m just saying i,m scared that the maloofs will move the team to vegas. i guess maybe i,m not a kings fan after being disrespected by my own peers. some fanbase. guess i,m not moving there either.

  • JT, Martin, Evans is the future of the SACRAMENTO kings, they arent going anywhere

  • Don't forget about Hawes!

  • JT Played all of his games in his rookie year and he was 3 rebounds away from a season average of a double double in his rookie year. geoff petrie nows how to draft players. (solid ones) except quincy douby he doesn't count......(<_<)

  • lol shh dont mention quincy... but i think he could still become decent

  • you got all these stupid warriors fans saying randolph is better than thompson.

first off, they dont even play the same position. thompson played more games and had more starts, averaged more points, rebounds, and a better field goal percentage.

warriors fans say randolph didnt play because competition. warriors werent that much better than the kings. just goes to show how poorly run the warriors are.

jason thompson might not be some superstar, but he's a very solid player.

  • yeah but remember nelson is a prick to his rookies so yes obvy thompson would play in more games

  • James Harden or Jrue Holiday

  • ricky rubio

  • With the number one pick of the 2009 NBA draft the sacramento kings select........................Blake Griffin out of U. of Okahoma!!!!

  • I have a feeling the kings will not get that 1st pick...hahahahah....

  • boohoo for you

  • june 1st, 2009 --------- ;( you jinxed us haha

  • Jason Thompson is the best thing going for the Sacramento Kings, they need to get rid of Brad Miller to also work on Spencer Hawes.

  • you got your wish, brad is now with the bulls :)

  • hes a really good player. hopefully he can start next year at power forward

  • his dunks r hecka good and a good defance

  • good pick for the sacramento kings

  • jason look like nick young

  • goog pick by Kings!!jASON tHOMPSON IS A GOOD PLAYER!!

  • he could of easily been a top 5 pick if he played at a bigger school but im glad the king drafted him future 20 and 10 guy im saying it here first the kings are on there way back up im tired of seeing the blazers play on ESPN and TNT so far most over hype team in the NBA they get to much props for a team that hasnt done or accomplish nothing yet

  • i see big things in their future think jason thompson and spencer hawes the kings are gonna have two really good big men

  • It was a great pick..In his debut he scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds in 22 minutes.. he did better then the top picks in there debuts.

  • i think that they were aiming at a starting power forward because Mikki Moore was too inconsistent last year and they also needed a replacement fore C-Webb and he reminds me a lot of webber

  • he was good in rider but this aint school no more lets see wat he can do in the bigs

  • yo im a lakers fan but i must say..the kings are getting stacked with their two new rookies jason thompson and Patrick ewing jr, and ready to be lead by kevin martin and that veteran leadership with bobby jackson..plus a pretty good bench like francisco garcia and such ;]

watch out i want the sac town vs l.a wars to start again

  • the kings made very smart picks in the draft

  • doesnt matter they r still gonna suck balls this season

  • They are full of rookies. Of course they wont be so good. They have a very promising furture though...(every team has to go through rebuilding.its the kings time to rebuild) And i think they are doing a great job.

  • That is true. I've got to admit, Beno Udrih is a very effective player. Kevin Martin will be an all-star this season, hopefully. Bobby Jackson is a beast. He is very athletic. And of course, you have the young, developing players such as Jason Thompson, Spencer Hawes, Shelden Williams.....

  • hey your like the first cool lakers fan ive ever seen on youtube. ;]

  • lol thanks, im still pissed that u beat us at ur home by a lot. :P

  • haha dude wen the kings beat the lakers i was like WTF!?!

  • GOOD PICK , KINGZ

  • no i mean he was at the draft

  • Garcia Was at NY Wasnt He?

  • Cisco went to University of Louisville.

  • Ciso was never on the stage, he spent the time with his family

  • yo he was shitting on michael beasely during workouts

  • lol stupid joke there at the end. he wasn't even present. kinda funny

  • The only player that was invited or went to the New York was Spencer. In the last 4 years, they all werent there.

  • WAY TO GO JT!

  • and he's a great kid too with a great family...you don't have to worry about him OFF the court...

  • i graduated with jason, played with him on travel and lenape with him. he can shoot the 3...he's a great passer...great motor...he needs to just bulk up a bit more and improve his quickness on his feet and he'll be a star. but sactown you guys got a player. i always knew he was going to the nba since i was a kid...GL sacramento and jason

  • Heres the dillio Sac fans...I played Jt in hs when he was only about 6'7....back before he was this big I knew he was an nba prospect. He has a skill set for his size that most near 7 footers could only dream of and has a ridiculous knack for rebounding. Things are looking up for your franchise im pissed philly didnt geth im

  • awsome im going to keep commenting how tight and cool this guy is welcome to sacramento man

  • welcome to sac baby

  • hmmm he can shoot he can pass he can rebound he can defend... reminds me of C-Webb.... only hes a lot bigger :D

  • they better get beno signed or they are screwed. i hope this guy can play PF cuz they need that spot filled.

    GO SAC!!!

  • Rider grad here.....JT can play, versatile big man, great passer, shot blocker, rebounder and scorer. You'll be happy with him. Great kid too.

  • this guy will contribute...cant wait to see combination of the bigs.

  • I am a Rider grad who has seen Jason Thompson play many times. Really good all around player. He is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker and has a nice touch on his shot.

He can play inside or outside. He can even shoot the 3. Very unselfish player. Good passer who probably could have scored more if he wasn't so unselfish. Had a high shooting percentage. Very good pick for Kings.

  • i was surprised at first. i was hoping bayless was still available. but i think you can only judge how the kings did in the draft come opening night.

  • well half the boos were drunk knicks fans who prolly had no clue about what was goin on

  • hope thompson does good but i think he will be ok

    Welcome to the kings!!!!!

    we doin it this year

  • i think the boos were for stern lol

  • i hope he does good cuz the reaction at the arena were boos

  • jason thompson is a king!

  • Congrats Jason. You're The Man.
