  • out of all of the stuff I seen at shot show this is in the top 3 on my list of best in show VERY,VERY INNOVATIVE..Great Work FAB...!!!!

  • thats pretty nifty

  • make this for the springfield XDM and we're sold

  • @kjohn919 It will be among the first pistols it is available for when it is released

  • (world wide web)(DOT)atf(DOT)gov/regulations-rulings/rulings/atf-rulings/atf-ruling-2011-4(DOT)pdf A LONG BARREL MAKES THIS LEGAL ACCORDING TO THE ATF!

  • @FromanMD Yep, it becomes a pistol- caliber rifle- you do not need to register it as a SBR.

  • Amazing concept, but I think they need to lower the price a a bit......

$500 for basically rails, a stock, and a foregrip is a little too much for me.

  • ha ha "thats what she said"

  • Bingo!

  • where do you get 1 of these? lol

  • @JDSureshot9292 go to themakogroup (dot) com

  • @ makodefense: I didn't realise there was a glock 18 version. I have a G1 and can't wait for the G2. It has all the upgrades I was hoping to see.

  • At 0:10 LOL!!! U wan't it happened to u in real buttle... hahaha... ))))

  • that sorta looks like an mp7 Glock style

  • I LOL'd at the dude in brown past the firing line. When the guy pulled a few shots, the dude turned around like "WTF?"..... wtf indeed, why were you past the firing line???

  • looks like a mp7

  • *Nutnfancy voice* HAAAAATTEE IT!

If you get a stoppage, you die.

  • @spamin8r If you get a stoppage you clear it like you do with any weapon and keep fighting.

  • that thing is like a frickin transformer

  • I'm no Glock fan, but I want one of those! Too bad it's re-classed as and SBR(or will it be an AOW?), I'd love to have one for my winter carry weapon.

  • Did someone say ninja glock :).

  • is this fit with G19, 9 mm , gen3 ?

  • That's what I said

  • @LastToFail they make options for P226 and 2022 (Pro)

  • @TheZaksattack and FN Five seveN, and many other pistols very soon.

  • @TheZaksattack but not the p229 by chance?

  • feels good in the hand... thats what she said.... real professional

  • I hope the shooter realizes that there are people ahead of his muzzle just a few feet to his left side. It makes me cringe to watch.

  • Im sure California anti politicians will claim this is so dangerous n shoots nuclear atomic bullets to. Ca. Sucks when it comes to gun laws.

  • Thats is pretty cool.

  • No possible way they'd make them for a Sig or HK?

  • @LastToFail Not sure about HK yet. Should see other pistols soon though, like XD, M&P, etc.

  • @MakoDefense awesome! thanks for the heads up hahah I guess I might have something to put that random Eotech on after-all lol

  • G.

  • ★★★★★

  • Really well thought out, I want one!

Too bad Mi doesn't allow sbr's.

  • love it

  • what is the reason to put usless junk on your pistol?this even not extending the barel.i better will keep my glock as it is.it'not a carabine it's a money sucker

  • @Sashalexandros i know, why do people want something that gives you more stability, better balance for optics, lasers, lights, and better controll on follow up shots. i just dont get it.an helps with suppressors. i was being sarcastic if you couldnt tell, but i wouldnt get one just because i cant conceal it as easy, and cant holster it. if it was to just be a weapon i use for home defence or when im on a road trip i might consider it, but to me, i would still like a pistol on its own.

  • @humboldtgunguy It is not meant to replace the concealability of a pistol, or the terminal ballistics of a rifle-caliber carbine. It is meant to give close protection types and LE/Military in limited situations the ability to have a very concealable carbine. It is more compact than a Micro Uzi, with the reliability and ergonomics of the host pistol.

  • @MakoDefense yup, i know. why did you tell me that?

  • @humboldtgunguy Oops, that was meant to be a reply to a different comment. Clicked the wrong one.

  • @MakoDefense haha, k. well have a nice day.

  • looks bad ass...put an extension clip on...woooooo hooooo baby!

  • Hera arms, baby! Even Sig's ACP has a side charging handle!

  • @shinli00 Yes, and the side charging handle forces the HERA to be much longer in order to put rails in front of the charging handle, and the ACP (which is basically a copy of the KPOS G1) moves the rails down to an awkward position to clear the charging handle, and anything mounted on the side rail will get in the way of charging. There is not enough room up front for a forward charging handle if you want it to still be compact enough to fit the intended role.

  • Do they have any fitting barrel extensions?

  • @HaysuusisaG There are long Glock barrels made is Switzerland, (up to 16") but they are quite expensive at about $200 - $250 US. They use a gas-assist to unlock the action, and the company has a patent, so they are the only source.

  • That would be a great sidearm for snipers and the like

  • Hera- Arms is far superior

  • would this make it an sbr or aow?

  • @teddydc2 it maes it a PDW, personal defence weapon. its like a cross between a carbine and an SMG

  • @Ki113r210 I know what a PDW is, but for legal issues adding a stock to a pistol makes it a SBR and a foregrip an AOW, in other words is this thing even legal to put on? (without registration/tax) but never mind it's in the description.

  • @teddydc2 ah. looks like niether of use paid much attention to the description XD

  • @teddydc2 sbr, but only if they find out you own the kpos and glock :P

  • Cool will it work with springfield arms xd/xdm?

  • @MrCker Soon.

  • On a serious note, that product looks fuckin' awesome. Also, what kind of optic is on there?

  • @MegaGevehr Meprolight M5. It is a new MIL-SPEC night vision-compatible battery-powered optic from Meprolight. It has started service with several armies around the world and will be available in the US for under $400.

  • @MakoDefense Thank you so much for the info! Look forward to buying one

  • Is Hoss single, he's pretty hawt!

  • I'll take one please

  • i want to get a glock 18, and i want something like this to make it kinda like a carbine. any help?

  • @DJdestropath

people in hell want ice water

  • @GunWebsites lmaoooooo i peed myself xD

  • @DJdestropath The website says it works with Glock C, Glock 17/17L/19/22/23/34/35, Glock 18, Glock 21, Sig 226, and Sig 2022 (Pro).

  • @DJdestropath Glock 18 is tough unless you are a manufacturer or dealer and can get a post sample. KPOS is easy, just order one.

  • @DJdestropath Don't think this will work with a glock 18, due to clearance issues with the slide side mounted switch. The G1 model will work with the 17 and 19 with a modified full auto switch. I'm not sure about the G2 model with the AR style charging handle tho.

Why do you want a glock 18 anyway? A bit of a novelty gun if you ask me.

  • @chrisaryee There is a G1 model built specifically for the Glock 18, and the G2 version will work as well.

Glock 18 is fun, but you are right, the rate of fire is very high, and as a weapon, semi-auto is probably more effective most of the time.

  • @DJdestropath The glock 18 is the full auto 9mm. So unless you are in a state that will allow you to buy own one you can hang that up. How ever the Glcok 19 is the same gun just minus the full auto. So that would be your easy option when this attachment comes out.

  • @hendersona49

    g18 is full size

    g19 is a compact

so a g17 (also full size) is a better comparison

  • did not realize that it was a Glock until about half way into the video haha

  • But I cannot tell whether doodads like streamlights & insights will fit inside that shroud. Sounds like the Ruskies made this one.

  • @DrTadHusseinWinslow Put lights or lasers on the rail, not inside with the pistol. You can use less expensive lights and lasers that way, too.

  • I foresee SBRs becoming VERY popular...at least when the rampant inflation hits here in a few years after the dollar devalues, the fixed $200 fee will be like the $5 AOW fee is now.

  • Really cool concept, just seems like a solution looking for a problem. I'd take a Glock 17 as sidearm, and if I wanted a pistol chambered rifle/carbine, a Sub-2000(3x bbl length), same mag's, two weapons. Don't like an SBR (w/$200 tax stamp!) that's just a 'shell' so I then can buy another G17 for this as it then IS my primary.. Different strokes for different folks! Thank's for always being so enthusiastic about keeping your subscribers in the know, 1st saw the new XDs(.40 PLZ, 6+1) here!

  • @reeseman67 This is not to replace the sidearm, but to give you an ultra concealable carbine. The SUB-2000 is too long to conceal, and once you get that big, you are better off with a rifle-caliber carbine (better terminal ballistics). The KPOS is not registered as an SBR, the pistol is.

  • Well it's not a terrible idea, actually, depending upon price, if you're willing to pony up the $200 and paperwork for an SBR. Lightweight PDW for probably less than the cost of an AR in 9mm, even counting the SBR fee...would be interesting with a model 34 with an extended /threaded bbl and suppressor. Mags already exist cheaply, albeit of fairly mediocre quality (like all things Glock, of course). I had a Mech-Tech CCU in 10mm once with a dedicated model 20 glock lower, but this is shorter.

  • Sig has something that looks like that coming out also. You can put any rail run into it, not just Sigs. Seems cool.

  • Be nice for my G20.

Even better if Glock Jus building It's own carbine!

I'd have 1 in evry colar of GLOCK BLACK

  • Would be great with a supressor !

  • Just seems like an expensive way to fulfill a need that isn't there.

  • its a really cool concept.... it seems like it would be useful for a pilot or some type of armored personel

  • SBR laws should be removed from pistols being converted to carbines.

If anything it should fall under an AOW, and only require the $5 tax stamp. I'd like to see it totally unregulated as putting a stock on a pistol is something you can accidently do in some ways, it's not like taking a hacksaw to your rifle's barrel.

  • GUYS CAN I CHANGE THE STOCK FOR ANOTHER????

    ?

  • If I had a glock, Id sure as hell get one.

  • "Has a rail for all your lights, and crap." Awesome!

  • i would like one for my G20

  • @SamBaine91

    too for a G21!!!!!

  • Nice gun

  • it looks similar to an MP7 but why would anyone actually carry a big PDW unless they couldnt conceal carry?

  • @danjbateman Certain security situations like close protection for executives. It can be concealed under a light jacket.

  • I also tried the RONI G1 and it's quiet similar. The main problem for me is that it do not increase accuracy. At 50m we were less precise than shooting with the our hand.

The only application we find to it is to shoot at short distance in burst or full auto.

Last point using a red dot on it is only for the fun because the position of the gun in it isn't enoughly guaranted, we have prefered to place magpul flip up sight and they do the job very well...

  • @sopmodm4FRANCE Unlike the RONI, the KPOS G1 & G2 hold the pistol very solidly - accuracy is very good. I have watched shooters hit steel targets with every shot at 75 to 125 meters with the KPOS who could not consistently hit the same targets with a pistol.

  • The first KPOS was also "great in the hand" but we encounter a lot of trouble with it. I hope they have corrected it... The slide hurt the rear of the part that support the beaver tail of the gun, impossible to fit a suppressor because the rear aperture is to small.

  • @sopmodm4FRANCE This happened because you installed the rear block upside down. It also did not fit your pistol correctly, which probably accounts for your poor accuracy results. To install the suppressor, you have to remove the flash hider - it just takes 2 bolts.

  • NOW IT ONLY NEED A SILENCER THEN IT WOULD BE AWESOME

  • as well dont call me an idiot, but what is a tax stamp?

  • @dusteater86 Google is your friend

  • @dusteater86 It has to do with the national firearms act, to put it simply in order to do certain modifications to firearms(like converting a Glock to a carbine "rifle"), or purchase a supressor, or even a fully automatic firearm you have to pay an excise tax and register with the ATF.

  • where do you get these wonderful toys!

  • "It feels great in the hand"

    "That's what she said"

  • sig-sauer-acp-adaptive-carbine-platform look it up

  • Is this a proprietary item? If it is I think its a waste money. I prefer the SIG ACP because you can use it with just about any handgun that have rails on them. From a SIG to a XDm, Glock and a 1911. Not a fan of Glocks.

  • @MotoChefServices Sure, but if you try to make it universal, it does not fit anything really well. It is much better to make it an exact fit for each pistol. The KPOS is available for Glocks, SIGs, FN 5.7s, soon for XD and XDm, M&P, and many others. Not sure about how the ACP is supposed to work with a 1911 because of the grip safety.

  • will be for Glock 21?

  • "Hoss" is a good name.

  • I want two of them NOW!!! In my state, I can not have SBR--I cried just a little.

  • @MrM2hb There will be a version that has an extension so it is not an SBR, but that of course increases the size so it is not as practical. Also, some guys remove the stock and get rid of it, so it can be used without making the pistol an SBR, but that kind of defeats the purpose.

  • Comment removed

  • Folding grip, folding stock but i ask thee: When wil they make a folding barrel?

  • @ZeaMoore4

check out the keltec p-2000, lol

  • @GunWebsites Keltec sub2000

  • Looks good. I wonder what it will sell for?

  • russian guy is russian. :D

  • @muffty1337 Israeli

  • @muffty1337

    They are Isreali...

  • I have seen some prototypes of this for some time now, and they look awsome. I still like the little stock that fits in the lanyard hole though because it is so small and light, but this looks like yet another great product from them. They seem to really make some good firearm accesories.

  • I was watching that thinking how much fun it would be, then wondered, how is that not an SBR? After reading the comments I guess it is an SBR.

I wonder how many they will sell having to go through the tax stamp process?

  • I really like how the foregrip slides over the trigger guard.

  • Will this work for Gen4 Glocks?

  • Makes me want to cry knowing ill never be able to own it here in IA

  • they should make one for the FN Five-SeveN

  • @toastedjoke09 Already made.

  • it looks like a MP7 with that kit

  • Really cool whats the price ? iam from germany so i cant speak perfect english like you :D

  • @hodenmeister1990 Contact issprotectiontrade (dot) com. They are the distributor for Germany and most of Europe.

  • dude i want one of those

  • Nice looks very sturdy The stocks prob run about the price of another glock like the roni and other competitors +the stamp cost. would be nice to have

  • Look at the tard at 1:20 "Hey maybe I shouldn't be playing out in front." Great video though!

  • Would this make the gun a sbr?

  • what optic are they running on that ?

  • @DontTreadOnMe894 Meprolight M5. MIL-SPEC, night vision-compatible, and you will love the price!

  • Good work guys

  • @Composer1777

your opinion is only equal to other peoples.. no more, no less..

  • It looks neat and practical. How does ATF classify your glock turned into a carbine with a system like this? Is there enough user testing of these systems for reliability?

  • Really need to work on branding though. Would you want to spend all that dough and a tax stamp on a P.O.S.?

  • Coolest thing iv seen this week...

  • IS A NEW KPOS?

  • Where can I get one. Is it legal in CA? And will it work with my beavertail grip?

  • @GunWebsites Ohhhh :) thanks

  • Don't call me an idiot please, what is a charging handle?

  • @constantin23454

the part that pulls the bolt (or bolt carrier) back for unloading, loading, etc

  • @constantin23454 Don't worry, everybody has to start somewhere.

  • Love the look.

But I view these taxes this way: Every time somebody pays for a tax stamp for their gun or gun part, they are paying for the enforcement of the law and for the creation of new laws. I'd rather do without than support that kind of tyranny.

  • I think i wished for this thing last night. And its actually real...

  • This would require a tax stamp, wouldnt it?

  • @MascisMan1

    yup

  • @MascisMan1 yes.

  • @MascisMan1 if you had a 18in barrel it would,nt

  • sweet

  • If it weren't for having to SBR this thing, I'd buy it just to have a fun suppressed SMG type blaster. I'd certainly not actually use it for defensive/offensive applications, just fun at the range. But the SBR process kills it for me personally, even though I have 4 SBRs.

  • @RetreatHell

I hear you there, it seems like a fun one to shoot, but the stamp is more work / cost than the fun I might have with it.. it's a shame

anyway, are you at the show this year?

  • @RetreatHell You are willing to register a suppressor, but not a pistol?

  • @MakoDefense Yeah. I can't take an SBR across state lines without notifying BATFE (like with a suppressor), and in some cases as I found out last week before my class here in LA, you have to notify the state LE as well. It's a PITA already with my AR SBRs, but with this being such a limited use range toy it's just pointless for me to mess around with that, not to mention the $200 stamp.

It would be fun to play around with this at the range, but too bad BATFE screws it all up.

  • @RetreatHell Yeah, that is a problem. Lately, no mater how far in advance I submit the paperwork, I don't get the form, back until after I traveled (without the SBR).

All because of language that was left in the legislation after they removed the requirement to register pistols under NFA.

  • Argh, okay... now talking about the ridiculous legalities here, is it like sbr'ing an AR lower where you have to have the serialized part engraved (the glock itself) or is the stocked upper unit itself serialized and treated like a standalone? Sorry if that was confusing, wondering if there is need to modify or register the glock or its ser. #? Haha if you've made it this far reading this post thanks and wish I could have worded my question better!

  • @skylined12 The pistol is registered as an SBR, and you engrave the frame. Some engrave the slide or barrel, but that means that you cannot switch barrels or use a .22 conversion, etc.

  • KPOS = Krappy Piece Of Shit? But in all seriousness, what does this offer that any other pistol chambered carbine such as the kel tec sub2k does not? If there was no pointless sbr law then it might be successful in the market but I don't really see it's use.

  • @Nuggedee It is concealable. You can't easily conceal most other pistol chambered carbines, except for some like the Micro Uzi, and a few others that tend to have reliability/ergonomics issues.

  • It feels really great in the hands lol!

  • Be badass with a glock 18.

  • The AR15 charging handle is freaking cool.

  • That's really awesome. Great way to hide an ugly Glock too ;)

  • Please tell me that you got to shoot the Beretta ARX-160...

  • Now I need a glock.

  • I have come close to getting the model for the Jericho 941... but the SBR Tax stamp cost is hard to justify these days (especially when I want to SBR my V51 aka hk51 in 7.62x51)

  • I wonder if a glock can cycle with a 16 barrel. That way you can get around the sbr thing...

  • taque that roni
