  • I bought one bottle of Kambucha! OMG it made me so happy and it brought so much joy to my life the knowledge that I only bought one! it tastes horrible! I mean Horrible, I bought the multi green thinking it was going to taste like a bottled juice, and as soon as the "tea" pass from my lips to my tonge the horrid taste came to my mouth it was a swamp like tase, between sour milk and very spoiled oranges with what the french call a "je no se cua"

I laughed all the way home :D

  • hella fine,

  • @Moo206 & @extion - Are you able to make a comment without insulting someone who took their time and effort to try to do good?

  • @leftunattended I suppose. But in the end as long as your commenting on the video, anything you say (following user agreement guidelines) will be accepted by youtube...now whether or not it will be excepted by youtube users is the question.

  • @BlueBurryPimp - Your point is taken. It's just tiresome. Some people have NOthing worthwhile to contribute. This woman, on the other hand is making a worthwhile contribution. BTW. I LOVE KOMBUCHA!

  • It is ILLITERATE to say "EAT HEALTHY." Say "EAT HEALTHFULLY." "Healthy" properly means "having health," whereas "healthful" properly means "giving health."

  • I love that stuff. Grape Divine is my favorite.

  • Funny thing is its not even called Kombucha, Kombu is a type of seaweed and cha means tea, kombucha is a seaweed tea.

Kombucha 昆布茶 "seaweed tea" is a beverage brewed from dried and powdered kombu. This is sometimes confused with the unrelated English word kombucha, a neologism for the fermented and sweetened tea from Russia, which is called kōcha kinoko (紅茶キノコ) in Japan.

  • @ReEducateYourself Kombucha is the Korean word for it genius. Kombu, from Dr. Kombu, from Korea, who studied it. Cha, is of course the word for tea. So It can be called Kombucha as well as many other names. In Russian it's normally called Kvass.

  • I though fermented foods were acidic. How dothey alkalize your body?

  • Look guys I read a lot that Kombucha is healthy and "can cure cancer" but I don't really believe it but I started brewing Kombucha a couple of months ago and I only drink it as a habit and because it is really tasty. everyone has his own opinion and every one has the right to express them selves but in doing so try not to hurt anyone else's feelings.

  • this woman is horrible at giving me information. WHY is it anti aging? HOW does it detoxify the liver? oh is it AWESOME?? well that's just like... your opinion.. whore..

  • Bitch needs a dictionary.

  • @extion lol

  • I'm making my first tomorrow and i want to know if i can mix home made Kombucha with other natural drinks?

    great video by the way.

  • is eating to much healthy food bad for you? because i eat waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy to much healthy food

  • @mydogprick You are a complete idiot. If you are going to attempt to dazzle others with your edgy wit, at least spell correctly. Obviously, YOU are what YOU eat.

  • I recently had my first Kombucha and believe it curbed my appetite and gave me energy.

    //norest4mysoles.blogspot.com/

  • @NoRest4MySoles me too

  • 2:05 - 2:09

  • @matsuo32 its not processed sugar so therefore its better....but juice has high calories and leaves you feeling hungry so its better to eat whole, fresh fruit for the fibre

  • Um where in the body are these toxins stored exactly? In what organs are they collected in and when/where can they observable? What chemicals constitute a toxin?

  • where can you pick this stuff up? I dont think I have seen this at the store

  • I made seven heads of cabbage into sauerkraut...it only took 2 weeks of fermentation here in warm Hawaii. Cooked up the first batch with sauteed onions, a grated apple, and some brown sugar. My wife is Bavarian and we missed good sauerkraut here in Hawaii, so just decided to ferment our own. Turned out great!

  • G.T. Dave, hurry your ass up and quit being such a sissy, oh and thanks for warning us ahead of time before pulling product.

  • Okay, if you're an adult you don't drink soda anymore right? Kombucha fills the soda void while making you healthy. If you've never had it before get gts synergy trilogy flavor, open without shaking, pour a little out or drink a little, put the cap back on then tumble gently untill strands are disolved. The colder the drink is and the thirstier you are the better it will taste, don't obsess on it's wine like smell, just gulp it down and enjoy the full bodied bubbliness.

  • According to the American Cancer Society there is zero scientific evidence supporting health claims by Kombucha Tea. However there have been reports of serious side-effects, and even several deaths linked to Kombucha tea.

  • @justintrayford I wouldnt believe them. I've read about so many people who have cured cancer by detoxing the body and using fruits, veggies, cultured foods, etc. Could it be that all these people are in some sort of health food conspiracy?I doubt it. Also with any detox you want to introduce it slowly your body doesnt like drastic changes. I made that mistake and felt terrible. I drank way to much yogi detox tea. Most herbs and vitamins are sold without "scientic evidence" supporting theirclam

  • @ChiefRagingface I keep a culture and have been giving it the old college try. I'm a war vet so I get blood tests every 3-4 months. I'v been trying kombucha about 3 weeks now. Blood tests in 3-4 months I'll see if the kombucha helps my high liver (ensighms) I'm know that is spelt horrible bad sorry

  • @justintrayford Right on I hope it helps! I just started my own too. I did some further research and sounds like most problems are a result of contamination. I have a rule I go by if its been used for 3000+ years it must be alright or we would know by now. So many people think if its not scientifically proven its dangerous. In other words if the people selling the stuff test it on 100 people its safe. Doctors prescribe "medicine" that is dangerous and addictive all the time.

  • @LversusKira FYI I don't drink soda of any kind and volunteer at a cancer facility specializing in children. I wish kombucha tea healed I really do. It was very christian of you to jump to such conclusions and accuse me like you do. I would like to see you're credentials and studies proving the miracles kombucha does. I will be so happy to tell the children that the doctors and scientists had it wrong and if they drink this *poof* cured.

  • @justintrayford I don't know why you would jump to the conclusion that i'm Christian, well anyways i'm not. However, it is interesting to note that one of the reasons for Christ revolting, was infact the forced feeding of processed foods upon him and his fellow men. What would my credentials have to do with the benefits of Kombucha? There is no such thing as a poof, your cured magic remedy, that kind of thinking comes from the paradigm of major medicine, and isn't realistic.

  • @justintrayford Also i shouldn't assume that you drink soda, and it's nice you want to help people with cancer. If i had cancer (which i very well could considering all the dangerous foods i ate before i knew any better, not to mention years of alcohol and smoking i would do anything to take back) , i would want to give my body the best chance at fighting it by following proper nutrition, which would include kombucha. I just watched a good friend lose his fight, and the chemo/surgery was horrid

  • @justintrayford if your looking for thing to *poof cure* you then your a complete fucking idiot.

  • @justintrayford You obviously have a good heart, but you'd be surprised to learn the truth about the authorities you're depending on so unquestioningly. Please, check out the documentary "Healing Cancer: from inside out", and learn about what has been going on behind the scenes of the medical industry for decades. Also, check out the book "When Healing Becomes A Crime" Thank you for keeping an open mind. God Bless <3

  • this lady is hot!

  • you can give me teaching lessons any day

  • So witch is it? alkaline or acidic? stupid health nuts, live and let live and stop substituting belief for science.

  • @matsuo32 Actually, fruit juice that you will find at the store IS unhealthy. Not only do they tend to add additional sugar than you will find in the fruit, but any juiced fruit will be rendered useless unless drank within minutes of juicing. Since you're so clever, I'm sure you've heard of fruit OXIDIZING. So yes, fruit juice is a complete misconception of healthy drinks, Doctor.

  • Ok, ive tried putting the sea salt in my veggies... fermenting them. And then also my seeds and nuts... to take out the acid she talked about that was an anti-nutrient. But now EVERYTHING tastes soo salty lol I just made a shake with the seeds and nuts... very hard to drink

  • As said here, it is acidic,I would think it would make an acidic condition. I drank it and felt an uncomfortable gut

  • She should redo the video, she makes so many mistakes in what she's saying. I don't think she was comfortable.

  • was that a commercial or are you gonna show us how to make it??

  • The bacteria/yeast feed off the sugar, leaving very little to none left, depending on how long it is fermented.

  • @becky5653 This was pulled off the market because of alcohol

  • These Guys are the Best

    free shipping

    and great support

  • Kombucha has Hyaluronic acid in it, which is good for joint cartileges, maintaining youth etc.

  • SHE IS NOT ENJOYING THE PRODUCT AT ALL LOL! at the end she doesent even swallow the product lol

  • You can hear her swallow

  • TwoSet, you can stop being so chauvinistic now.

  • Obviously if a lemon is acid it doesn't mean it will create acid conditions in the body. Same as milk which is alkaline will not create alkaline conditions.....

When a food is labeled as acid or alkaline it means the effect it does in your body fluids.

Most grains, some fruits, dairy and over-processed an fatty foods are acid, duh.

    live foods are alkaline.

  • "and folic acid,. which are AWESOME" XD her face at that part just cracks me up.

  • hmmm.... cute primer, which should come with a huge caveat. screw Synergy and all the other corporate KT makers ~ it's only about half as strong as what you could make at home, and sometimes it's not even finished! those acids? gluconic, glucoronic, acetic among others. if you don't drink 2L with it everyday you will hurt. sometimes you will hurt anyway ~ it's called a "healing crisis." ....and yes, faux paux about not talking s.c.o.b.y. without that you'd have no KT. let's sell KT to yuppies!

  • Good video, very entertaining!

  • how about just drinking green thee?!

  • Please label your series of videos so we can tell which ones we have watched. Its a great series - would like to see it in order.

  • to scripted

  • She is Paris Hilton of kombucha.

  • You make kombucha with tea and sugar... By all means don't mention the mushroom culture which enables anyone to make it at home.

  • actually eating acidic foods reduces the acidity in our bodies and alkalizes it... kombucha contains acid...so it's good.

  • I dont understand what you are trying to say. Are you trying to say that acidic foods alkalize the body? Or is what you mean to say is that some acidic foods will create an alkaline ash in the body, thus helping to make the body more alkaline? I know that drinking coffee creates an acidic environment with minimal benefits if you were to drink it daily, and it is not alkalizing. Can you please clarify what you mean? Thanks

  • I'm saying that acidic foods do not create and acidic environment. She said that acidic foods are bad, and that kombucha can help counter that and alkalinize the body... she made a mistake. Acidic food alkalnizes the body, like lemons and kombucha

  • SOME foods are acidic and not good for the body if too much is ingested(red meat, shellfish, organ meats, hydrogenated oils, fried foods, etc. Some acidic fruits such as lemons, limes, grapefruit, etc. actually do help alkalize the body. Do not listen to andresico2, there are PLENTY of acidic foods that will make your system acidic if you overdue them(as most Americans) just watch your intake of certain foods and don't skimp on veggies and plenty of pure water. also, just google alkaline foods

  • The study to which you refer is merely a researcher documenting four kombucha-related hospitalizations. Three of them had symptoms that could have occurred with any other severe allergy (people have died of peanuts & eggs; are peanuts & eggs dangerous?).

The 4th was an alcoholic presenting with jaundice after drinking 16oz/day of kombucha. Alcohol - liver problems. Take home lesson: alcoholics, don't overdose on KT.

  • yay mushroom tea!!!!!

  • EPIDEMIC !! It is the newest trend

The mixture of sugar, tea, room temperature, and yeast/bacteria provides an ideal breeding ground for many micro-organisms (some pathogenic) and airborne fungi.

  • Don't take your information from one source. Kombucha provides good bacteria and other beneficial nutrition. Its been used for years. You might need to use it yourself

  • Watch out for this stuff!

In a study (1997) by Srinivasan et al., they found that use of Kombucha tea in proximity to onset of symptoms and symptom resolution on cessation of tea drinking suggest a probable etiologic association.

Symptoms included side effects probably related to consumption of Kombucha tea are reported in four patients. Two presented with symptoms of allergic reaction, the third with jaundice, and the fourth with nausea, vomiting, and head and neck pain.

    J Gen Intern Med. 1997

  • I know at least 5 people who drink this stuff regularly FOR YEARS and they are so healthy they never seem to get sick and don't even have doctors, also the indidginous peeps who drink this stuff are known to be centurians more often than not. Something you can't say about the american culture and what they choose to feed their faces. Hmmm

  • Pick any random food or drink and there will be a small percentage of the population for whom it causes allergic reaction, nausea, vomiting, or headache. It's called allergies.

  • I'm sure the doctors who I'm referring to have heard of something called 'allergies'.

  • A sample size of four is not good scientific research.

  • yum yum!

  • she said "have a bowl" lol, teewker!!!!!!!!!

  • Folic acid is a b vitamin (b-9). dumbass

  • alkinilizes I think lol

  • Take little sips? Don't drink the whole bottle right away? GREAT! I just bought a bottle for the first time and downed the whole thing right before i watched this vid. Oh yeah, and i shook the bottle quite a bit before opening it not knowing what would happen. Should have read the fine print on the bottle.

  • I was driving when I first opened a bottle. yikes.

  • It takes much longer to make than a few days. I enjoy this product. Just don't shake it unless you let it sit for a long time, it will spew all over the place :)
