Do you think it is possible for the Catholic church to change old tradition? This is so beautiful, but the Lord has shown to me that to pray "forgive as we forgive" is carnal forgiveness and men do not forgive easily. "make us to forgive those who traspass vs us" is divine forgiveness. Maranatha!

The Lord's Prayer is translated accurately from the accounts of what Jesus Christ taught the disciples in the New Testament.

Also, it does't say "forgive as we forgive" it says "forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us". It is the petition for forgiveness combined with the pledge to follow Christ's command to forgive.

yes, thank u so much for your reply. In October the Lord told me that the Lord's Prayer is the PERFECT PRAYER, He said to me, "I was the one praying it with those who are of My image". He made me to visualize His passion on calvary and the abuse he received, yet forgave, then He made me to believe "WE ARE FORGIVEN UNCONDITIONALLY" . In regard to the first part :Forgive us" He said to me "did your dad ever ask forgiveness? Your Father in heav. teaches u to Pardon and to ask for pardon.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are trying to say...however, I would point out that Private Revelation, the type you describe, is not binding on the Faithful of the Catholic Church and not necessary for salvation. Public Revelation, that is Jesus' teachings which must be believed for Salvation ended with the death of the Last Apostle St. John. I recommend you look for Cardinal Arinze's video on apparitions here on youtube...just youtube his name and you'll find it.
