  • nice vid, bad music

  • lol when i first watched this i was like WWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?????

  • That same year we had worst snow than that in Parsons Pond

  • You can verify the numbers at Environment Canada

  • Quebec is colder despite unusual mild days these years, the snow stays all winter. The old country houses on the North Coast Region of St-Laurence were built 2 storage high. The top floor had an exit door, no stairs, that was used to get out of the house as the cumulation on the ground gradually becomes too high in February. The snow compresses by its own weight in time, still used to be 7feet (216 cm) on the ground (not counting snow banks). These years in February, around 56cm on the ground.

  • you wouldn't be outside on the roof unless you have a door on the roof, everything would have stopped more than a week and you would have been quit a while stuck in the house not able to get out through the door without having snow coming down in the house.

  • Oh no it isn't a fake! But what is the fake is the way people interpret it and give their opinion. There is ,yes, 100 inches maybe burrying most of a house, but further there might be 5 inches on the ground and that's simply because you had a strong wind in the storm, it pushes the snow agaisnt the house in some area. Yes no doubt, there've been a lot, but If the storm had left a real cumulation of 100 inches which is nearly 10 feet (in one day or two),

  • Im from St.Anthony and this definitely aint fake. I was in grade 7 when it happend.I sadly live just outside of town and had been of the kids stuck for 2 days..

  • @snarbucklemt I have to back your claim. I'm from St. John's and I remember this story in the news. I knew a girl up there and her sister was trapped in school.

  • The people that say it's fake probably live in the desert...

  • Wow that is all I can say

  • A good record compilation, nice music

  • Fake

  • @SpartanDAVE97 How is this fake? You clearly haven't been to northern canada in the winter.

  • this is so fake

  • @Stalley75 your a dumbass....how could ya fake it? Google some pics of winter snowfalls in newfoundland.....youd know if ya had ta fuckin shovel it buddy...SOURCE:I LIVE THERE.

  • @Dannienf1 they just use snow making machines and point them in a few places to make it look back, then use plows to collect all of the 4 inch deep snow that fell in a field. goddamn, you'd believe anything!

  • 21centuryg

  • I love snow storms!

  • dear god!

  • build a house of snow

  • Amazing footage! I won't complain the next time we get ten inches! If the the trapped students were elementary age, there must have been a lot of unhappy kids come that first night. Probably heard "I want my mommy" and "I wanna go home" a few hundred times! Kudos to the teachers for what must have been a loooong 48 hours!!

  • dang thats all i can say to this video DANG!

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!

  • oh man, that would be perfect for building tunnels

  • i wouldnt even no how to get out of my house IDK what i would do

  • chuck norris can shovel his drive way in just .000001 nano seconds

  • How long ago was that....??

  • @rockinggirl50 Winter 2000/2001, so 11/12 years ago.

  • @doodlestrudle1 are ya sure this wasn't during blackout 96??? the snow was up to the powerlines then too......

  • @Dannienf1 Pretty sure, the snow wasn't as bad that year, although it could have been easy to get the pictures from then. All I know is that in the winter of 2000/2001 my friends were tapped in the school for two nights because a large snow storm passed through the town and snowed everyone in. So the pictures could be from another year, the story is from that winter.

  • That's what it's going to look like in Chicago by the end of this.
