What's wrong with the HEUI in the fords? I've worked on the systems in cats and there's not much that goes wrong with them. Could be a slightly different setup though.
The HEUI in the Fords are a bitch to try and run with large injectors. You have to switch to double HPOPs and all kinds of other tricks to up the pressure to work those big nozzles. Not to mention in the 6.0 the injectors are finicky as shit and only like to run certain weight oils or else they gunk up and die on ya.
That is true and its not that its not easy its much more expensive i know i have an early 99 7.3 with several thousand dollars in it and i'm still no where close to where i could be if i had a dodge.
are you retarded?? Cummins makes way more power than ur joke P(O)S engine Hopefully ford will dump those gay powerstokes and get real motors soon...maybe... If they wanted to be serious they would have an I-6 not a v-8 and a Cat Diesel not International
i don't recall saying i no everything...and about the 7.3, not a fan you need to dump a shit load of work into em. Still lovin my cummins 5.9 But can we agree on one thing??? Duramax blows!!!
lol ok deal and yeah you are correct i 7.3's need a lot of money to hop them up unless you know the right people, but honestly if anybody reads this and you are going to make big power with a powerstroke i HIGHLY recommend the stealth pump from stetcher performance that is the key to power one stroker at a tune of 2100 bucks its worth it though
lol the dodge has better aerodynamics than the ford... in other words.. the ford whooped ass off the starting line but the dodge cut through the air better
Guess again! It would not walk-out unless all 8 axelshaft endbolts sheared also, although 5 of them did. Instead, when it snapped, the power went to the right-side axelshaft, pushing the truck to the left--which you can see it did in the video several times. The Detroit-locker also could not keep up with 1000hp and began slipping as well. Richard has corrected these things for the race in SLC "Weekend On the Edge!" See you there, sports fan.
that truck has a cummins in it. and a very healthy one at that. at least he was smart enough to put a cummins in it!

6.0's are junk, but the 7.3's are good solid motors.the only problem with 7.3 is they are so big thers no room to add another turbo haha.

not true many people have twins on a 7.3
emtff7959 4 years ago
well, let me put it this way, its not as common or easy to put twins on ANY diesel as it is a cummins.....not that it cant be done.

More like the p-strokes are being worked-on. Can't keep those 6L junkers glued together long enough to do anything, let alone play.
dieseldude03 4 years ago
again 6.0 are shitty engines, thats a known fact but if you spend a lil money on them they will hold up just as well.
emtff7959 4 years ago
You bet the ford has a Cummins. Fords diesel wouldn't run NEAR the ¼ mil times the Cummins will.

yeah cause the p-strokes are for workin not play toys like cummins are
