As a spanish girl i can say that this situation is horrible but there are many people who work hard to save them, i have rescued 3 greyhounds this month and i say thanks a lot to the people that adopt them!!!sorry if i make mistakes in english, i do my best!!!Beautiful video!!

Spain has basically no political will to help animals period.For that reason I will never support that country with my tourism dollars until they show changes are being made in a big way. The people that do these things to these dogs need to be jailed and lifetime ban from owning animals.

It has legislated against the mistreatment of animals, with heavy fines, not imprisonment. Lawmakers I don't believe that they want to go to this extreme, because then the abolitionists of bullfighting they would want the same penalties for bullfighting

I adopted a Galgo Espanol, from Stichting Greyhounds In Nood Nederland, and i absolutely don't understand why these dogs are being treated so horribly. They have so much love to give :( The Galgo Espanol is a beautiful, kind and noble breed of dog!!!

We have adopted a very abused, neglected near death greyhound. I diddnt realize this was such a huge problem until now! Very Sad as they are very awesome pets!!!!! THANK YOU for posting this video.

30 yrs ago, 30,000 greyhounds were euthanized each year in the United States. They were killed after they no longer could race fast enough to make money.

Now, today, greyhound tracks are closing & dog races banned in several states. 90% of all greyhounds taken from the racetrack now get ADOPTED as pets and have recently earned national attention as a good pet for a family with small children.

Good, the British people you have fame of animal and I don't believe that all the British people are drunks, troublemakers, animals and they have your stupidity, because you don't love the animals, I believe that you simply have some pathology in different levels of graveness. I have had greyhounds, and dogs of all the races, and adopted, and for me they have been of the family. Therefore, if you want to generalize, I can also generalize

We adopted a (Spanish Hunting dog---Podenco/Pointer mix 2 months ago, and I would recommend them to anyone considering adopting a dog who will love them for the rest of their lives!!!
