The evader tends to be looked down upon by the "pros" but it is packed with hop ups for cheaper than any other. it goes as fast as the motor you put in it. will take a 12t with stock esc. it is a stadium (hard packed dirt) buggy. No rc car that i know is water proof but it is really easy to take care of.
the charger depends on the batteries you buy. most newer chargers will charge nicd and nimh. the nimh will have higher mA but take longer to charge. you can use lipo batteries which will give you the highest performance but cost the most and take the longest to charge.
i wouldn't use a wall charger at all. you want a peak charger to protect the cells and get a full charge. and any 6 cell flat pack will work. i used piranha
oh and is it water proof? and is it easy to take care of?
