KHMER AND LAO don't like viet, I'm sure. Vietnam is a bad neighbore, even Thailand is also not a good neihbor either. These 2 neighbors are keep stealing khmer and lao territories. After all present time Thailand were used to be Khmer empire and the whole South Vietnam were belong to Cambodia. Shame on these 2 bully neighbors.
It takes alot of energy to play those instrument. I am looking forward to my sister wedding next year and we will definitely get some lives cambodian traditional music band.
yes a lot of energy and many many yrs of practice. I always enjoy weddings with live cambodian traditional music...its pretty much the highlight of any cambodian wedding. Did you find out about the "pkar slar" for your sister's wedding yet?
I suggest you get it a couple days before the wedding date. If you're buying from the khmer store, I think they require a month or two of advance notice but if you know someone, like a family/relative thats getting it for you, have them send it over a day or two before the wedding. The flower bruises up pretty quick and once you get it make sure to chill it like in the fridge or wherever that is pretty cool (garage).

Not yet. When is the best time to get it? My sis wedding is not until next year in june.
