gypsy jazz guitar lesson? Sorry but this has NOTHING to do with Gypsy Jazz or Jazzmanouche at ALL! Listen to the REAL players like Stochelo, Bireli, Romane and the like … then you will KNOW, but dont tell other this is a lesson.
let this thing where it belongs! with sinti, they grown up with this music and everything has being learned by ear! i am sinti myself i know what im alking about you have to put your whole soul in the guitar! anyway give it another try
you really help explain the trick here. (a trick for me anyway) it's like learning rhythm all over again. I couldn't here the strum or even see it when watching gypsy swing live - thanks for this tutorial. It's only the very beginning I know - but the foundation.

People wants to learn manouche style and not flamenco. Manouche style plays with a pic there is no way to play in fingerstyle. Good luck to make sound your bass.
"People" refers to who? you and your grand mother probably..
if you knew a bit of manouche, and of jazz in general, you would know that the richness of this style lies in crossing influences and mixing very different music styles :)
N'importe quoi.
