@WCdragoninja Parental watch groups and censorship happened, and it was decided by the government and media coglomerates that comics and animations were only for children. There was alot of American creative talent back then, alot of great works that touched on the deeper and more mature subjects with stunning artistry to go with it all. But I think we're beginning to see a revival, we just need more attention and acceptance.

I wish the world didn't have all the problems it did, that way we could focus on expanding our understanding and delving ever deeper into the realm of human creativity. It saddens me that such seemingly almost trivial issues plague our civilization that we can't just sit back and enjoy some good ol' cartoons.

@DASTONEHED81 No Such word...It's an old process called "Rotoscoping" which can mean a few different things...In this case they have actors act out all of the shots and then add cartoons over them, thereby getting realist movement...Today we have the same process called "Motion Capture" in which human or animal movements are replaced by Digital means (CGI)....
