Got this record around 1963, as a present from my sister, and still have it. It was really "Toutes les garcons et les filles" I wanted, that was in the top20 then. Few years ago in Paris, I bought it as a CD, with exactly the same songs and cover. Lately "Oh Oh cheri" has been uses in a TV commercial for glasses, I just don't know, why this certain song was picked for that.

I have such a soft spot for this song. In my senior year of HS, my French teacher brought in her guitar once a week and we sang French songs. This one was one of our faves, and I still remember all the words. We changed the tempo slightly...made it a bit more upbeat and happy.
