I hated this, and Crystal tips and Alistair...dont know why, they just depressed me... at an age when I shouldn't have known what depression was, anyone else feel the same?

Thanks for that.... I remember coming home from school (grammar school) and thinking.... Hmmmmm - just how do my parents want me to be? - i have a signed book in my possession from Oliver Postgate (desc) that I'm reaDING. I loved ALL the kiddie cartoons and at the age of 44 I lament the death of Oliver and the dearth of the classic cartoons. Does anyone remeber being called for tea - just as willo the wisp was on? lol

Ludwig has been bothering me recently.

I'm not even going to quantify why a BBC Director decided to re4place Ivor the Engine, the Wombles, Rhubarb and Custard, Magic Roundabout, Padington, with this old toss.

Right I'm off to stage a sit in with the Flumps that will really put the cat amongst the pigeons as we now have guns.

Thanks for posting this! It's a gem. Oh, Ludwig was brilliant. Strange Holmes-like character with the binoculars is a bit weird, but still...

I remember rendering myself helpless with laughter at an episode where the hedgehogs get hiccups. Note to self: must find this on YouTube now...

Me too. The only reason I remembered it and none of my mates did was because I had a Ludwig colouring-in book. I got through a lot of blue felt tips.
