@Zambiealive I have a theory, maybe the supernatrual is drawn to other supernatural entities. In a way Tommy is. He is a werewolf.

and like in the show Supernatural in the episode Home, because of the demon that killed sams mother, other supernatural entities are drawn to the house. and when Sam had his pyschic powers he was drawn to other people who had powers but couldn't tell where it was coming from. therefore it kinda makes since why the paranormal suddennly appear in pleasantville.
