AC1 is my favourite, it would be AC2 I think that's the most fun out of the series and the story is really fun to follow, but I REALLY don't like the fact they introduced guns into this series, the whole point was to be a medieval assassin with a hidden blade, now it's all turned into fucking grand theft camel.

Dude, I'm playing the pc version, and I completed EVERY single save civilian event, every other investigation...EVERYTHING on the other 3 memory blocks....And I have HALF the lifebar you have. How is that possible? How many missions did you do after this? How did you got your healthbar so large!?

Hmm, I don't know what to tell you, sorry, it's been so long since I've played it. I think doing the View Points also gives you bars, which you didn't specifically mention but it sounds like you were thorough enough I'd imagine you did all that too. I don't know what else to tell you.. If you do everything, you should finish the game with 20 bars.

find a viewpoint in the new district, it wont appear on your map just climb to a high place a look for one, Synchronize it and the other missions will appear

first time around i missed my jump and fell down behind him and had to fight ALL his gaurds and him

2nd time around i got the stealth kill then i tried to jump on the wall but fell between the buildings and had to fight 15 guards in a 3 foot by 3 foot tiny space lol

Definitely not the easiest target. I got him by accident. First I counter killed a bunch of soldiers on the roof tops just below the castle wall that runs along where William is, then I fell down onto the streets below, took out a few more. And somehow I think I may have counter killed William himself. I also got the Eagle's Flight achievement while the cutscene was running lol. But all in all this one really pissed me off, I kept trying to go in with the Scholars and wasn't able to.

If you look at 1:01 in the video you'll see the pigeons to the right. After the assassination you can take the ladders back up to that spot and do a Leap of Faith to exit the castle.

You have to go to the Assassin's Bureau and then do investigation missions.

faster-easier way is to just go through front gate, silent kill the guard up the stairs just up ahead of u, then hop the fence go on the roof kill the archer to the right, then jump to the bulding by the wall kill that archer and then sneak down behing him and kill him

I don't know how the PC control scheme is, but you have to have your Hidden Blade selected, hold the High Profile button, and hit the button to Lock-On Target. When you see the word "assassinate" show up in the top right corner, hit that button. That's how it works on console.

Make sure you climb all of the View Points. If you don't have View Points on the map, just look up for the tallest buildings and climb them. After climbing and activating all the View Points you should get eveything else to show up on your map. I hope that helps, that's all I can think of :)

Once you've beaten the game, you can go back into the Animus and select any Memory Block to replay. The only thing that sucks is that you have to start at the beginning of each Memory Block, in other words, you can't just redo a main assassination without doing the investigation missions over again to get the Feather and stuff...

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Do the required number of investigation missions, go to the Bureau to get the Feather, and then come to the entrance of the castle to trigger the cutscene (that's everything I did before the video started). I hope that helps, sorry if I misunderstood :)

This is one of my favorite videos on William de Montferrat because of the unique approach and use of air to assassinate instead of throwing knives.

When you wrote "if anyone did already, whatever" I figured the odds of an earlier YouTube post of the same method were zero but check out the video by lordoftheringards (video ID Ieq6qx1-Nl4). It's narrated in French and posted on November 22, 2007. Eerily similar route.

Anyway, good job figuring out the game so well on a one week rental.

No this is a later assassination. There are 3 in every city. You're right, the doctor is the 2nd. This is in Memory Block 4.

You can always get more knives by pick-pocketing these certain guys that are in every city. Once you recognize them, you'll know who I mean. Also I think you reload knives when you return to Masyaf. When the game gives you an option of which assassination to do, it doesn't really matter which one you do first. Otherwise you'll only have one destination.

No, the only thing that you can do when you beat the game is kill innocents without losing health (synchronization) and you can use Eagle Vision any time. But when you go back into the Animus & pick a Memory Block to play again, you still have to do the minimum of investigations to get a Feather; it sucks. The only thing different is that the View Points & Save Citizens you can't redo...

If you do all the Save Citizen missions & climb all the View Points, you'll max your life bar out in no time. (Remember that there are also View Points in the Kingdom.) Also, even though you only need to do 3 investigations to get a Feather, if you do all the investigations that also helps. It's like every 15 times you do something, you get a new bar.

you know when you assassinate william i locked on to him then did a leapm assasination . . .all you gotta do is when he's at the desk thingy and he's debriefed his soilders slowly climb down and lock on to him then just press x and there you go it's pretty cool
