  • Fucking Japs deserved it!

  • Almost completely misleading title. Okinawa is not Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

It's just as likely that the Russians invading Manchuria was a greater factor in Japan's decision to surrender.

  • Well I say dumping two nukes on them was a fair trade off for what they did to are soldiers they captured

  • Just imagine what america could have dobe to germany dyring the war

  • Even if USA didn't drop the bomb a huge amount of people would still have died. The Atom bombs dropped on japan only account for a very small percent of casualties. The US incindiary bombings caused much more destruction.

  • Japan bombed cities to start a long bloody war. USA bombed Japan to end a long bloody war

  • The USA absolutely had a right to drop the A bomb on Japan. They attacked up first and refused to surrender. Those are facts. It was a total war and winning was what mattered. Japan has democracy now and is no longer run by militarists.

  • Well, this proves the U.S is the terrorist lol.

  • who's the terrorist?

  • nuke screwed up those japs look at those freaky tv shows they putting out, and cartoon porn, most likely a side effect of radiation.

  • @dopefish55 cartoon porn is awesome

  • An unfortunate side-effect of Hiroshima and Nagasaki war crimes is that they tend to obscure the thousands of other war crimes against Japanese civilians and military committed by US forces. In great part, the firebombing campaigns and starvation tactics are overlooked due to an unavoidable obsession with Washington's two foremost displays of hatred against civilisation.

  • It is no surprise the foremost acts of genocide and terrorism in the 20th century are a constant subject of criticism and apology on the part of US academics and armchair critics (see below). Some see a parallel with the various arguments over German atrocities. Unfortunately, that would overlook the scale and dimension of Hiroshima-Nagasaki revisionism, engaged as it is by official US intellectual society (and stooges - see below) for 65 years, which makes it the real champ of Holocaust Denial

  • @seseljsrs I'm just against people who try to justify 9/11. Call me crazy, but I don't believe civilians are fair targets.

  • @seseljsrs fuck it i dont feel like explaining it

be no point it would be like trying to teach quantum physics to a baby

just look up Bataan death march/ Manchuria/ Philippines/Australia

look up the Japanese torture sessions and executions of filipinos who helped american soldiers with malaria

ever wanted to know what would happen if u stuck a fire cracker up under somebody finger nail?

  • @seseljsrs In great part, the firebombing campaigns and starvation tactics are overlooked due to an unavoidable obsession with Washington's two foremost displays of hatred against civilization.

ROFL are u that stupid when it comes to the pacific

i have been learning about the pacific war for years and that thought not even crossed japan's mind and they were the victim

    u know why?

  • Thanks for this project. Those who remember WWII are rapidly slipping away. Preserving these individual stories is a service to history.

  • @SaAbbas10

you do know what genocide means right?

  • @SaAbbas10 how was it genocide?

we only destroyed 2 monitor towns instead of Tokyo and Kyoto

  • @goddifist It wasn't genocide. It was the preservation of a half million american lives which did not want to be there, and which would have been back in Topeka Kansas had it not been for the Japenese attack on Pearl Harbor and the devastating, horrible, and viscious rape of Nanking.

  • @Icriedtoday

aka japan brought it on itself owell japan is still here and they should be happy

because if had modern nukes back them...

well japan was a fine country

  • @Icriedtoday back then*

  • @Icriedtoday Preservation of American lives by committing one of the most inhuman acts in history of the civilization bombing UNTOUCHED cities that had absolutely no military installations. Just admit that Americans wanted to test the bombs. I mean, you Americans constantly push for people to admit their sins, and you've yet to begin.

  • @Pseudologic No country on earth admits more sins than America! America saves the world's ass thrice over and the USA has to confess our sins? Hah! Try the Russians and Chinese for confessions! Most inhuman act? (typical idiot Euro-trash) WAR ITSELF IS INHUMAN FOOL! Does it matter whether it occurs at 5000C or by a rifle bullet? Both cities were war industries and besides MY DAD IS ALIVE DUE TO THE ATOMIC BOMB (Canadian, NOT AMERICAN, BTW)

  • @goddifist what an idiot you are

  • @turkeyjurker do i fucken know who u are? and why the fuck are u talking to me?

  • @goddifist

no, americans firebombed and destroyed about 56 japanese cities before dropping the last two atomic bombs.

  • @NZtrillion how many Filipinos(soldiers and civilians)/(Australian soldiers and civilians)/British/Americans/Chinese/Russians died in the Philippines/Manchuria/china trying to defend there country/empire

and how many Japanese commanders (rank i dont give a shit about) were charged with violation of the Geneva convention

there alot more to the Pacific theater then any gov't/historian in any other country other than the american historian's/gov't will ever tell u

  • @goddifist

exactly... i'm not standing up for japanese military. only civilians dies with those atom bombs. the reason why japanese were not charged for war crimes was because in return for their freedom they gave the USA all the horrific information gathered from torturing chinese people. things like 'how does a human body react in a compression chamber?' , 'what are the effects of dry ice on a living human arm?' - and yes, they do shatter if hit with a hammer.

  • I suggest that anyone interested in this topic should do an online search for:

    - Japanese war crimes -

because focusing only on the atomic bomb drop is a diversion from what else happened before regarding "genocide" ... truly you should know another side.

Ignorance is to see one part, and ignore the rest of "the story." Their Emperor is sorta lucky to be alive.

  • @1236bigcat You've just justified 9/11. Congratulations.

  • @Pseudologic 's a perfect name 4U with Irrelevant Conclusion: diverts attention away from a fact in dispute rather than address it directly.

You attempt to whisk away horrors found on for instance, wikipedia Japanese_atrocities. You'd never bother to look, attempt to hoodwink us. In addition to genocide and murderous racism, the Japanese cowardly attacked the US with a carrier fleet. Your telescope's backwards in twisted propaganda.

  • @1236bigcat Well I submit to you that the US has done much evil to other people of this world and thus the attack on civilians on 9/11 was entirely justified. I mean if you support burning of millions of Japanese civilians for the crimes their military had done, I don't see why you wouldn't keep your country to the same standard. Unless of course you exercise your country's rich tradition of applying double standards.

  • @Pseudologic youre tossing Red Herrings. Your hatred of the US evident in contempt for truth. Japanese slaughtered up to 30 million, plundered more over longer period than the Nazis.

WW2 Emp Constitution, "The Emperor has the supreme command of the Army/Navy." Shinto says, Divine Power. In June 44 Saipan, Hirohito sent out order encouraging all Japanese civilians to commit suicide rather than be captured or taken prisoner. Over 10,000 Japanese civilians jumped from "Banzai Cliff"

  • @1236bigcat My hatred of US? Because I dared to defend Japanese CIVILIANS?! Well, you know, my grandfather fought the Japanese in WW2. Do I hate my own grandfather too?

  • @Pseudologic In Feb 1945 Hirohito was advised to end WWII. The Emperor, still looking for a tennozan (a great victory) in order to provide a stronger bargaining position, firmly rejected and the cabinet reassessed the war strategy, only to decide more firmly than ever on a fight to the last man. Berlin surrendered May 2nd . Japan announced surrender 106 days later, 6 days after Nagasaki.

You really hate the USA. What did you do in WW2? How many people did Hirohito kill? Bombs said, STOP NOW.

  • Biggest terrorist act in the history of mankind.

  • until the day the japs finally admit and accept responsibility and apologise for their involvment for the nanking massacre and every other war crime unaccounted for, i shall to the day i die, never shed a tear nor show remorse to the people of hiroshima or nakisaki

TO JAPAN = STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM

  • @jetdude101 Fucking idiot

  • @jetdude101 The Japanese never played the victim. They're not that kind of people. Speaking of Nanking, when will the British admit to the millions of heroin-related deaths in China?

  • @Pseudologic the japs version of dignity is reflected on action inflicted upon others, not on their own actions, any nation willing to admit mistakes has honor, but the japs are so stuborn they lies so much even they believe it up to this day, even in the face of overwelming evidence they still do it

My granddad was at the fall of singapore, so i have a say

  • @jetdude101 Well not your nation, apparently. I mean don't get me wrong, I love England and its culture, but I'm sure that if we dig just a little we'll find all kinds of dirty deeds, especially by that inbred family of degenerates you call the Windsors. But hey, does that mean we have to go and nuke Nottingham and Leeds?

  • @Pseudologic you think your so awesome in goody goody canada with clean hands, truth is your country executed prisoners in sicily argued by Claus von Straffenburg himself and such is unconfirmed, we are all men, and we are born warrior and killers and we will die killers, such is humanity

    arguement ends here

  • @jetdude101 Don't forget the countless natives, whose deaths early Canadians caused. Don't forget their land that's still being occupied. Let's not forget the Japanese Canadians who were put in internment camps during WW2. The ability to fight animal instincts is what makes us human.

  • What was the point of this? Why not interview an American or Japanese solder who was actually involved in the fighting? (or an atomic bomb survivor?)

  • Hahahahahahahahah! BOOM!!!

  • Law of attraction..

  • USA is a cursed country. Without future.

  • @igorvasilevsky thats england probably said in the war of 1812 guess whos still here =D and guess who will always be here america isnt going anywhere

  • @igorvasilevsky I agree with you.We have so much blood on our hands it is impossible to even comprehend. And with the Obama administration the killing of innocent civilians continues.

  • @igorvasilevsky just like any other country in the long haul

  • @igorvasilevsky Who won the cold Ivan? Russia sucks. They murder journalists there. Go suck down some vodka russky.

  • @nightfevers Don't you want to murder Julian Assange?

  • @igorvasilevsky Who won the cold war Ivan? Yeah, communism worked out real well for Russia yes? Why does your government murder journalists? Go suck down some vodka.

  • igor is a cursed homosexual , without penis

  • the Japs got what they deserved. They should have thought about this before they started a war.

  • This guy has obviously been brainwashed by propaganda. To say something as absurd as "the Japanese actually appreciated being Nuked", because it brought the war to an early end.

-I'm sure he also thinks that the Vietnamese people liked the smell of Napalm in the morning & the people in Git-mo love being tortured.

  • I hope USA is hit by a nuclear bomb.

  • @whatimfeelinglike2 and i hope u can find a nuke bunker

becuase if that happenes your fucked

  • title is misleading

  • Call me a hippie if you like, but the horrors of nuclear warfare must be stopped! Nuclear power is not like when man tamed and learned to harness fire!

So: Total Nuclear Disarmament! Emphasis on disarmament.

But we mustn't forget the tech! It must only be used for increased energy density!!

Nuclear power for everyone (until we find a more efficient source).

    Nuclear weapons for none!!!

(Tho I wish I didn't feel I have to spell it out like that. But humanity is still in its adolescent phase).

  • @tastingo88 i tottaly agree.

  • The Americans were trying to starve the civilian population to death in Okinawa using scorched earth tactics. This guy suggests many Japanese welcomed the start of a 65 year occupation.

Prior to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the American air tactics were directed towards firebombing crowded residential areas killing tens of thousands of civilians. This overwhelming evidence of a civilian-directed warfare refutes the lame revisionist attempts to suggest otherwise.

  • @seseljsrs i never met a person as more ignorant to bushido culture as u

  • creepy if you think about that the ww2 nukes are fly farts compared to modern nukes or H bombs

  • My goodness.. "Japanese welcomed a nuke attack"?

The US propagandists are worse than the Stalinist ones...

This is simply mind boggling... A neocon Jew wouldn't invent something like that...

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez You all have shit in your ears? He didn't say "Japanese welcomed a nuke attack"

  • @Pseudologic

You moron. He said it in reference to the nuke attack.

    Have any brain?

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez Work on your English comprehension, it's very poor.

  • @Pseudologic

    What? This is simply unbelievable..

He said "Japanese almost welcomed THIS" after saying that he was excited about dropping the bomb which ended the war. So he implicitly said "Japanese welcomed a nuke attack".

It was "THIS" not "us" as you claimed.

Get yourself a media player and slow it down to your level.

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez

He absolutely DID NOT say, or imply the Japanese "welcomed a nuke attack". What's wrong with you. Nor did he say he was excited about dropping the bomb...he said "it was a very exciting thing for us to know the war was coming to an end". He goes on to say "The Japanese almost welcomed US, I got to know a lot of them." I have no doubt the Japanese people put on a good show and may have SEEMED welcoming.

  • @Pseudologic

Are you some kind of redneck who can't tell the difference between "this" and "us"?

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez Did a mexican really tried to teach me English? Really?

  • @Pseudologic

I would expect a Mexican to be able to teach you your own language, Mr.tea-bagging redneck.

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez Nope, not teabagger, but I'm not going to sit idle, while some you scum insult a veteran because you don't understand basic English.

  • @Pseudologic

    You f.. moron.

Did you get yourself a media player and slow this down, yet?

Until you have done it, shut the hell up, you redneck freak.

  • @FormerlyKnownAsNopez Don't know how to spell "fucking"?

  • @Pseudologic try this for English:

Etymology of your chosen name is pseudo- (false) and logic.

pseudologic (literally) False logic. A logical argument that deliberately omits an outcome so that a false conclusion is reached.

Synonyms might be 'speciousness' or just plain old deliberate propaganda.

I will repeat this for readers anywhere you ask me to as you are a lesson of example in cruel revisionist tactics hiding great truths.

  • @1236bigcat So my name somehow proves that Japanese civilians were rightly burned by radiation? Talk about red herring.

  • Its the 65th anniversary of V-E Day.

  • Funny that they show this when Irans President is in New York talking about Nuclear Weapons lol. The only country in history to have ever used Atomic WMD, and they're pointing the finger at Iran like they're the threat lol.

  • @MiClLC Israel has used tactical nukes

  • .......the Japanese WELCOMED A NUKE TO THEIR SHORES!?!?!!?!?

WHAT REVISIONISM! WHAT LIES! WHAT A PROPAGANDA WHORE!

  • @odin422 He said: "The Japanese almost welcomed us." Meaning US troops in Okinawa. I don't think a normal person would say that someone welcomed a nuclear bomb dropped.

  • @Pseudologic you OBVIOUSLY didnt listen.

  • @odin422 You're obviously a total moron.

  • @Pseudologic shitbag, fuckoff.

  • @odin422 Yep, a TOTAL moron.

  • @Pseudologic Were you there?

  • @Pseudologic the probability is that many many more civilians would of died if the US had to invade.

  • @smoochym If my country was fighting yours, even if I hated my government I wouldn't say "Drop the bomb on us so you don't have to invade and kill us" That's just stupid.

  • @Pseudologic i never said they wanted it or that the americans cared how many died, all im pointing out is the high probability of a greater number of civilian casualties if they had to invade.

  • @smoochym What you're saying is a common mistake being repeated by people who think that invasion would have happened. It wouldn't. Hirohito wanted to surrender, but was ignored for months by Truman. The Americans committed a great crime, for which they have not paid.

  • @Pseudologic it's not a mistake, any rational person would agree when considering the evidence. Far more credible than your hysterical opinion.

  • "The Americans committed a great crime, for which they have not paid"

And what of the thousands of civilians tortured, raped and executed by the Japanese? If you think being moral is allowing more civilians to die then you are frankly deluded.

  • @smoochym The Chinese weren't dying at that point and Russians were the one who drove the Japanese out of Manchuria. Having said that, the US had no moral right to drop the bomb, on Japanese civilians just because their government committed crimes. Brush up on your law before you make stupid statements.

  • @Pseudologic thankfully morality isn't law you moron. It's not illegal or immoral to kill someone if your life is threatened.

  • @smoochym The only reason you're mad is because you know I'm right. One day your country will pay for it's crimes, with interest.

  • @Pseudomoronlogic Brush up on your enlightenment before you make stupid assumptions.

  • They should review some of the double boomers. Guys who survived BOTH :D

  • 20,000 Americans marched for PEACE and HUMAN NEEDS Sunday May 2nd, 2010.

Where is the RT coverage of this historic event OPPOSING WAR and the military industrial complex. The corporate controlled media is resisting the push for PEACE.

  • @OnenessNow

Peace doesn't supply money to the corporate infrastructure when the populace is bankrupt through debt, corporations must gather their funds collectively through government enforced payment schemes if people refuse to spend. The military corporate infrastructure needs wars or a threat to enrich themselves. The system is called fascism not socialism.

  • @OnenessNow it need to be 200,000 or it wont even make it to the print.

  • ...i like the end of this video...''it was fun'' he said

  • @Fyeagass16 lol

  • I wonder if RT is going to interview Winter war veterans.
