Thank you for making this video I have epilepsy myself and have had it since I was 4yrs old and now im currently 18yrs old. Having this health problem has always made life harder cause your constantly sick and dont know what it feels like to have a life without meds, hospitals, surgeries that didnt work, seizures, So thank you that meant alot knowing someone cared about epileptics
All I can say is well done! I have a friend and a family member who suffers from epilepsy. Its no laughing matter. Thank you for sharing whats on your mind and heart with us. You have my deepest respect for making this video.

I made this video because i was on youtube and came across one of these videos that someone had made and i had a seizure. i had lost my memory and had to stay in hospital for a week. After i had recovered i went back to that person's page and asked that person to remove it because it was just flashing lights, that person refused.
There are some VERY horrendous folks out there, be careful, I have seen MANY "viruses" that were actually made purposely just to CAUSE a epileptic seizure, it was made by an unsupervised kid, parents need to really focus on their kid's acts of hatred
What gets me is that people would hack into a site FOR EPILEPTICS and make the photosensitve ones have a seizure. I heard that on the news a few months ago. I was outraged.
Some people don't even seem to care that anyone can have a seizure. I was at a friend's birthday party once, and there was a strobe light. I really don't know if I'm epileptic. My mother is, and so is everyone else on her side of the family. My sister and I were tested, but the doctor said it could come out negative, and we DO have an epilepsy attack, or it could be positive and we don't.

I think what irritates me almost as much is how people seem to think that all people with epilepsy will have a seizure if you flash lights in their eyes, when only 3-5% do. I have frontal lobe epilepsy, and flash lights all day every day, it won't do a thing to me.
How do you distinguish between a video that's deliberatedly made to hurt epileptics & one that has flashing lights as part of the video itself. Both are potenitally dangerous, but you shouldn't flag videos for bullying that aren't intended to hurt.

How do you distinguish between a video that's deliberatedly made to hurt epileptics & one that has flashing lights as part of the video itself. Both are potenitally dangerous, but you shouldn't flag videos for bullying that aren't intended to hurt.
