I write children's books and i've converted all my picture books to iBooks, I am wondering in all honesty - your own personal opinion, do you feel kids are truly reading books on iPads? (Kindles, Nooks)
If not now - do you really feel kids, schools, parents, will convert to e-readers? I've a ten yr old and it's a wee bit uncomfortable to hand her a $800 iPad, but I'm wondering if other people feel this way? Would love to hear everyone's reflections.
@Edza1996 kindle uses electrons to move ink(That's why it flashes), The ink stays on the screen until the kindle clears the screen and re-lines the ink again. it uses little battery power(it lasts 60-120 hours...depending on how fast you read). The only advantage of the iPad for reading is the back light. Do your research before you spread false rumors, please.

ibooks cant and wont ever replace kindle. Kindle lasts longer and, most importantly, the books are 60% cheaper.
