Gene Arceri's beginning of the extensive research that went into this book. A journey that took him from Brooklyn to Atlanta, with stops everywhere, and in-between wanting face to face interviews, anywhere he could find some insight into this compelling personality. With help from Hayward's brother Walter.
Ms. Hayward was a great actress and a great beauty and has to be on the top ten lists of great female movie stars.
As Susan lay dying none other than Garbo paid Susan a visit , as did Hepburn, Stanwyck, et al.
This fim is a remake of the great Bette Davis film "Dark Victory". Bette was none to happy they were remaking one of her favorite films and clashed with Susan on the set of their film "Where Love Has Gone" the following year.
