This is why Committed won, this song above most the others on the show, shows that every person in this group can really sing whatever they want. not like some of the other groups that struggle when anyone besides their lead takes over ....(backbeats).... ALso these guys have gone way out of their usual element and shown they can sing just about anything without a problem.

I'm surprised the judges never really mentioned the role of the bass singer. He proves such a strong foundation to the layered harmonies. It makes them sound so rich. Just listen to that low note he hits at the end of "good or bad, happy or sad".

This is their best performance. It honestly wouldn't sound any better in a studio because this is so impeccable already. A record on stage.

However, I have to say I'm a Backbeats fan. The Backbeats don't have the precise, technical prowess of Commi

Granted, I am taking it out of context...the approach and resolution of dissonances is important. Nevertheless, even with the right approach (which they've used well here), it's extremely risky to attempt a harmony like that. Everyone must nail their pitch with absolute precision. What's at stake is either a stroke of genius or an egregious flub. They pull of the former effortlessly.
