People here NZ watch NFL but the games are only available on pay television so a large majority do not watch it except for maybe the superbowl. Rugby is definitely popular, in fact it consistently ranks within the top 5 most popular sports in the world. I mean cricket generates more money then rugby but is defenitely not more popular.

So he despised how those Samoans lived and carried themselves. So he didn't want to associate with them because those were the Samoans that most people knew. Now we both known he shouldn't have said that because he knows we are all not like that but he did it out of the emotions. He later apologized for that

Never heard of Polamalu before, but im sure he would be quite famous in the States judging by what you have said. However, the growing popularity of rugby worldwide means that the care factor for American football in the southern hemisphere and much of Europe is pretty much zilch.
