@lautaset LOL -- It's called pick one person to be and stick with it. If you look at ALL her interviews, there is no accent or a hint of an accent. Either have an accent or don't. When you "flip flop" on who you are I lose respect for you. She still has an amazing voice.

When talking to large crowds you should always speak to the written language, that the message gets through. Book language is better understood than slang. I crack up everytime I see this, L.A. says she is "predictable, predictably strong." LOL really he said that? She's a true phenom lol and predictably strong???? That was an idiotic statement because to change her being predictably strong she would have to come out and tank her performance, the only way to change from "predictably strong" would be to be "uncharacteristically bad" I will laugh about this a very long time!

@lautaset LOL -- It's called pick one person to be and stick with it. If you look at ALL her interviews, there is no accent or a hint of an accent. Either have an accent or don't. When you "flip flop" on who you are I lose respect for you. She still has an amazing voice.

@SylvanCode I do marketing / sales work. It is important to articulate in different ways between various client companies. When talking to large crowds you should always speak to the written language, that the message gets through. Book language is better understood than slang. I understand that you do not understand, later you may realize....btw I live in Finland so maybe you don´t even understand what I just wrote, but who cares. :-)

@AndreaAzn Read what I wrote. In all of her interviews she has no accent, no hint of an accent. Then all of sudden she has an accent. That is "weird" to me. Does she pick and choose when to have an accent?

@SylvanCode She was emotional and it slipped out and she realized it. Most people have to concentrate to hold off an accent. What I noticed in the beginning was that she did not talk very much. Short sentences and careful articulation of words.

Outstanding performance once again from Melanie Amaro. Just shows once again, Melanie can sing. LA Reid doesn't know what he's talking about. This is different from what she usually does. And if she does something similar, so what? I don't get why they want these contestants to chnage it up every week. They should be able to do whatever song they want and what fits them best. Nice job, Melanie.
