It's unannounced. You have to look out for small ads in local papers like the Village Voice. They will probably not do it again because some hours after I left people got too drunk and druggy and started fighting. Someone even got stabbed.

Looks like it was a great time but flash mob mission failed.  Looked more like just a slightly organized mob.

Somehow, the flash-effect failed indeed. I think that's why this guy with the hat (probably the organizer) climed up the fence and started counting down as you can see, to get it started. I left union sq. after the last shot and later found out it went on for hours, turned into a plain street party, people got too drunk started fighting and someone even got stabbed. That's the -real- shame.

Im not saying the movie sucks...but the flash mob didnt really do a good job, everyone was to scared to begin. I can understand it, but then you shouldnt be in the mob.

And even when they started dancing it wasnt what i call 'impressive' you know?
