METEOR SHOWER IN IOWA FOLLOWED BY SONIC BOOMS 4-15-2010

Last night 8/31/2010 around 11:00 Pm there was a meteor shower with a boom in southern california. Beautiful colors, it was a mixture of blue red orange big bright lights. Believe it passed the earths atmosphere. scary i can say, really similar to this meteor shower.

haha my mom saw that even though we live in Minnesota ok so she let my dog out to do her business and then she saw it and told my dad and thought she was goig insane haha

I saw a sweet meteor one night last summer. It wasn't as bright, I'm guessing it was a lot smaller. But it was still super cool.

@combatvetlawstudent, I even had a camera in my pocket. no way i could've pulled it out in time. It was incredible. i've only seen 2 shots of it, one from teh dash cam on a police car, iowa, and the other was a news cam overlooking milwaukee i think, i think those are the only 2 clips i've seen around.

@trustthecat Well I am not freaking out at all. Just sharing news. Signs and wonders is propetic though. Noone knows when the world will end as Jesus said noone can know the day nor hour. Just increasing evidence of the times. Wonders in the sky. hate and lawlessness increasing in societies wars and rumors of wars increasing. It is all in Matthew 24.

What's interesting about 2012 and the whole mayan calender ending....

There was a paper that came out a few years back that showed the calender resets.

Another paper claims the Mayans ran out of numbers.

@th3w4tchm4n This same phenomenom occurred in Candad last year can see it there. These are definitely times of sorrow and signs mentioned in Matthew 24. The important thing is for people to share the gospel with increasing fervor and urgency as each day passes. Soon and very soon.....it will be too late for many...

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

There was two similar ones just like that in 2008 and no one ever reported where it hit. We get hit all the time. Most of them just break up and burn to the size of a penny before they finally reach the surface. If something is 28,000 miles above the earth, and only 6 feet in diameter burning away at thousand degrees, there isn't normally a crater. We do have leonid meteors coming into range. Main show starts in 5 days.
