No offense, but I think Rika is a horrible friend/character (But that's why i love about her). When she dies, it's like she goes to another world without thinking about it's feelings. She jumps from world to world to find that ONE world where she can stay alive with all her friends leaving behind an empty world only filled with sadness. Remember the first episode of Higurashi Kai? Rena said she wished she can go back to those happy days. I think that proves that Rika is a horrible friend.

@HanakoFujita While you do have a point, I don't think Rika is all that horrible. Remember, she's been through dozens of worlds by now, enough to be considered over 110 in age (mentally, not physically). If *I* had to go through all that, over and over and over again, I think I would've lost my merit too. I'd just want it to end and be done. I think that's what they were aiming for creating Rika... either way, you snooze, you lose. Poor past Hinamizawa's, I guess. Wave goodbye! xD

@NSwisher15721 But she didn't learn anything from each world... :l She could have asked someone for help, but then she ended up not doing anything in the end. I know if she did tell someone then they will think she's just lying. She could have asked her friends, but she didn't want them to get involved. Sometimes I wish I can tell her, "They are already involved with the situation from the beginning!!!" >_<

@HanakoFujita I can see your point, but I personally see it more as a onesided friendship. She often did try to help her friends like Satoko for example, but yeah, she kept WAY too much to herself about her own problems... she wouldn't say anything until she was to the point of mentally breaking... as for the Rena thing, I'm sorry, but could you maybe be more specific? I'm a little lost by what your reasoning has to say there. :/

It's so hopeless song, like Rika is trying desperately to save all of her friends from horrible fate, but then she fails again and everything stain to blood again, again. No matter how she tries, every world ends in the dead-end. Shion falls down and try to reach Satoshi in the moon; Satoko is dead, Rena is dead, Mion is dead, Keiichi is dead.. All over again, just in different ways. Watching to your friends die thousands times, it's painful and I'm not blaming Rika that she's hopeless sometimes
